Today’s Good News And Bad News: LiLo Gets In A Fight, Model Coco Rocha Reports On Fashion

First the bad news:

2010 is off to a rough start for Lindsay Lohan, who’s being accused of copying her new 6126 clothing designs from dresses she already owns, is in a fight with her best friend, Patrick Aufdenkamp, claiming he then stole her designs and planned to start his own collection. [Us Weekly]

A New York H&M store is under fire for slashing unsold garments and throwing them out. We wonder if that’s what spurred H&M to release photos of its new sustainable line, which, admittedly, are beautiful. We hope H&M doesn’t practice this in all its stores. [NY Times]

Now time for the good news:

Something good actually came out of procrastinating. Waiting ’til the last minute to buy holiday presents paid out (for retailers at least) unexpectedly. [WWD]

Is model Coco Rocha aiming to be the next Tyra Banks? She’s been behind the camera since last winter’s Fashion Week, but now she’s moving on up, hosting the red carpet at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, held in her native Canada.  [Oh So Coco]
