Top 5: Waterproof And Chic Winter Boots–A Rare Combination

It’s not an easy task, but we’ve found loads of winter boots so chic, you won’t be embarrassed to wear them. When cold, wet winter weather comes to town, not only will you be prepared, but you’ll be excited to show them off. We’ve showed you our favorite fur-lined boots and tracked down the patent leather boots Fergie wore to Sundance–now,  here’s our round-up of our favorite all-weather winter boots.

Sperry Topsider boots ($89.97, down from $198) is prepared for all weather, without compromising on style (or the heel). Great for going to work on a snowy day, they’re surprisingly comfortable. After all, they have cushioned soles so you don’t have to worry about falling.

Sorel Juneau boots ($104.90, down from $149.95) is fully waterproof, and is equipped with Thinsulate lining and a woven wool top that feels like an extra layer of socks so it’s harder for snow to get through.

Trotters Blizzard boots ($68.95) manage to be cool-looking while being water-repellant sand still keeping you warm. Not an easy task. We love the buckle detail–and the price, of course.

If you’re more of an UGG boots girl, we can’t blame you–The UGG Sunburst tall boot is our favorite for trekking through the coldest weather and still feeling comfortable.

When it’s really snowy, you really need a pair of tall rain boots that are completely waterproof. Enter Hunter Original Gloss rain boots ($115). Layer with thick socks and you can handle all weather–plus, when it rains in the spring, you won’t even mind stepping through the puddles.
