Would You Rather: One Convertible Bag Or Four Multi-Use Handbags For The Same Price?

A convertible handbag is a must for my hectic schedule. I need something large enough for work, but on the weekends an oversized tote just doesn’t look good. This Lockheart Convertible Leather Messenger Bag ($575) acts as a satchel, cross body bag, and hobo all in one. The cognac leather works with most colors, and I love the zipper details. But is it worth the investment if I can get four convertible handbags for the same price? You decide.

Would you rather?

One supple Lockheart leather bag ($575) that can be worn three ways?

Or four versatile convertible bags for the same price?

When you can’t be bothered by a shoulder strap, this The SAK Silverlake Convertible Satchel and Hobo ($199) is the perfect option. I love the purple color and longer strap on this Steve Madden Sophisticate Convertible Satchel ($98.95) that seconds as a cross body bag, while this Melie Bianco W8-12 Satchel ($98) is the perfect coral shade for spring. For a smaller option that can also convert to a cross body bag or clutch, I would go with this Foley + Corinna Disco City Bag ($198).

This is a tough one but I’d go for the four bags. The Foley & Corinna and The SAK bags can achieve the same kind of looks as the Lockhart bag not to mention that they are leather so they will last a good long while. As for the Steve Madden and Melie Bianco bags, I woudln’t normally buy because they aren’t leather but just like in the picture above, I think that they give you the option to add some fun to your wardrobe with a colorful bag!
