Would You Sacrifice The Use Of Your Fingers For The Furry Mitten Trend?

Runway style is always a little kooky, but it is also where next season’s must-haves are born.  Collections for the fall 2010 season showed an interesting new trend in fur: the furry mitten.  Luxe designers like Brian Reyes, along with affordable brands like Topshop all hid models’ hands in oven mitt style furry hand warmers.  What do you think: will you be warming your extremities with this wacky trend come fall?

Almost like having animal paws, these furry Calypso mittens ($315) are serious attention grabbers.  If you’re ready to dive head first into this trend come fall, these mittens are for you.

If you’re feeling on the fence about this trend, go halfsies with these affordable leather and fur gloves by Alfani ($39.99).  These would look great paired with a leopard print scarf or hat.

For a more everyday approach try these leopard print haircalf gloves from MICHAEL by Michael Kors ($81).  These may be one step removed from actual furry mittens, but they’re super cute and won’t warrant negative attention from PETA.
