Derek Lam Claims Ivanka Trump “Blatantly And Intentionally Copied” One Of His Shoes
Sorry Ivanka, but this is pretty bad.
While we’ve been reporting on Ivanka Trump’s shoe line for a while now, we didn’t see this one coming. Acclaimed designer Derek Lam slammed Ivanka Trump with a cease-and-desist letter, giving her mere days to pull her $150 Cadie Wedge (pictured right) off the market, claiming it “blatantly and intentionally copied” his $780 Ayami wedge sandal (pictured left). And just from the looks of it, Lam is clearly in the right—even the designers’ labels look similar.
