Seasonal Affective Disorder Got You Down? Physicians Formula’s “Happy Booster Bronzer” Can Be Your (Much Cheaper) SAD Light Therapy

A photo I snagged of the “Happy Booster” bronzer from the event

Yesterday I was glowing (literally) at the opportunity to go to a bronzing party hosted by Physicians Formula, the leading mass makeup brand for bronzer. Although their signature bronzing pearl sets are all well and good, a certain heart-adorned compact immediately caught my eye. Their $13.99 “Happy Booster Bronzer” is literally the bronzer equivalent of Seasonal Affective Disorder (aptly called SAD) light therapy: according to Physicians Formula, the bronzer is made with the “Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress.” Call me an optimist, but I’m hooked—even if it’s just the packaging, the hearts, and the little pop of fuchsia that makes me happy.

Check out this bronzer, as well as a roundup of our staff favorites below:

I have the blush product from the same company. I love it! It gives me a great rosy glow. I also feel great wearing it!
