Looks like accessorizing with neon is a prerequisite for pop stardom.

While this weekend’s Ultra Music Festival may be responsible for an uptick in sales of day glo-colored accessories, it seems like many celebrities have jumped on the neon bandwagon as well.  From Katy Perry‘s blue hair and yellow nails, to Leona Lewis’s electric hi-waisted ensemble, to Willow Smith‘s glowing tresses, it’s clear that the neon trend has moved far beyond pacifier-adorned rave culture. But don’t bust out your glow sticks just yet–this bold trend is best word in small doses: think statement accessories or a single, bright separate paired with more muted layers.
