Earlier this year, Twitter handle @NoBtotheS caused quite a stir in the PR community by tweeting about the annoyances of fashion PR, from interns not wearing “industry black” while working events, to bitchy editors and other gripes. The account fizzled out in April, and word on the street was that it belonged to an employee of Starworks who has since moved to a Conde lady mag. Now that this person is at a Conde publication, @NoBtotheS has been abandoned, and a mysterious @CondeElevator account has taken its place, Tweeting about the hilarious and bitchy things that are said and done by Conde editors on their way up to work. The handle is awesome and hilarious, and we think only one person could be behind it.
The suspect has a public account with over 20,000 tweets, so yeah, this kid likes Twitter. This person is also very connected in the industry — hence the blind item. Also, we don’t want the meanie HR team to put a stop to the tweets.
