Louis Vuitton To Collaborate With Artist Yayoi Kusama (Coming Soon: Polka Dot Speedys)
Dior just debuted their colorful camo Anselm Reyle collection, following Kiehl‘s decision to put Jeff Koons toppers their body lotion, and now Louis Vuitton is continuing their pattern of pop culture collaborations, by announcing a partnership with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, who is known for her polka dot installations, like Dots Obsession (above).
According to WWD, the brand’s artistic director Marc Jacobs collaborated with the 82 (!) year-old artist on “a broad range of products, including leather goods, ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, watches and jewelry,” which are set to hit stores in July.
