Ray-Ban Celebrates Turning 75 With A Throwback Capsule Collection
June 27, 2012
Ray-Ban has long been a timeless brand, known for making everyone look cool, from Tom Cruise and Will Smith all the way back to World War 1, where they were the official shades of the Air Force in World War 1. The heritage brand is celebrating its 75th anniversary starting today, with what other than a throwback capsule collection! The Ray-Ban Ambermatic collection is modeled after the original Ray-Ban aviators–choose from a pair with curved temple tips (the “Shooter” or without, the ‘Outdoorsman”). These are the real thing, baby, and starting at $219, they’re definitely on their way to being collectors’ items.
