The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Your first dance as husband and wife is one of the many “all eyes on you” moments at your wedding, so you want to make sure you choose a song that represents your love and happiness at that moment. Whether you want a slow serenade or something with more of a beat, we’ve come up with 25 of the most romantic wedding songs for you to choose from. We even included a Spotify playlist with all of the songs–just hit play while dinner is being served.

All of Me, John Legend. Legend wrote and performed it for his wife, Chrissy Teigen, at their wedding.

Just the Way You Are, Bruno Mars. What woman doesn’t want to hear how perfect she is to the man she loves? It’s also on the upbeat side, so it gives couples the chance to do something a little different for the first dance.

I Choose You, Sara Bareilles. The singer actually held a proposal contest and then featured footage from the winners’ proposals in the music video.

Can’t Help Falling In Love, Elvis Presley. You can’t go wrong with The King.

It Had To Be You, Frank Sinatra. It might be from your parents (or even grandparents) era, but this song is still meaningful for newlyweds.

Make You Feel My Love, Adele. Many have covered this beautiful tune, but we prefer Adele’s version.

Let’s Stay Together, Al Green. The sentiment is simple: Whether good or bad, happy or sad, you plan to stick it out together.

I Could Not Ask For More, Edwin McCain. McCain has quite a few romantic songs, but this one about finding the one is our fave.

Unforgettable, Nat King Cole. A classic that will also work for the parent/child dance.

At Last, Etta James. There’s a reason this song has been a first dance staple for decades.

God Only Knows, Beach Boys. This song reminds us of the ending of Love Actually. Enough said.

Crazy Love, Van Morrison. This romantic ballad written by the Irish singer-songwriter is a great choice.

In My Life, The Beatles. This song is ranked 23rd on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Songs of all Time” and has been covered by everyone from Bette Midler to Metallica.

I Won’t Give Up, Jason Mraz. A reminder that there will be good and bad times ahead, but you can get through it together.

By Your Side, Sade. Sade manages to make anything sound romantic, but this tune is perfect to express your commitment to one another.

A Thousand Years, Christina Perri. Yes, Twilight made this song popular, but don’t let that stop you from playing this song at the wedding.

How Long Will I Love You, Ellie Goulding. Goulding is mostly known for dance songs, but this is a beautiful choice for a wedding.

For Once in My Life, Stevie Wonder. An oldie, but goodie with an upbeat tempo.

Everything, Michael Buble. The modern day Sinatra’s sweet serenade about finding the one.

In Your Eyes, Peter Gabriel. Anyone who has watched John Cusack hold a stereo in his arms to win back Ione Skye in Say Anything can appreciate this song. And if you haven’t seen this movie yet, watch it…now.

The Way You Look Tonight, Fred Astaire. Many of the older songs work well for a couple’s first dance, as well as their spins with their respective parents.

Can’t Get Enough of Your Love Babe, Barry White. White’s smooth voice will have every guest wanting to join you on the dance floor.

Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You, The Four Seasons. Jersey Boys has helped make this band’s music more popular, and this is truly one of their best.

Then, Brad Paisley. For couples that want some country flair for their first dance.

What a Wonderful World, Louie Armstrong. You can choose this for the first dance, but we also like the idea of closing out the reception with this popular song.
