The list of Black Friday 2014 bestsellers looks pretty much the same as 2013, which actually shouldn’t be all that surprising. Last year, there were tons of brand new tech products like the iPad Air and Xbox One. These must-haves were only minimally improved this year, with no totally new versions hitting the market (ex: the iPad Air just got slightly thinner for the iPad Air 2).
InfoScout reports that shoppers are still buying the same items this holiday season, but at reduced prices. Retailers can’t charge they same amount for one year (or older) products. Stores like Target, Walmart and Best Buy will have to sell many more units than last year to keep up with previous holiday season sales.
