The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Often times, the best beauty advice has been around for centuries and it just takes us a little while to fully get the memo. While the market is saturated with all kinds of amazing creams, serums, and cleansers that will make your skin radiant and younger looking, some beauty enthusiasts are opting to drink their way to a gorgeous complexion. Skincare drinks and nutricosmetics are the next big thing in beauty–but their simplicity will make you wonder why it took so long for us to catch on to their powers in the first place.

“Drinkable beauty is a trend that will only continue to grow,” says Camille Varlet, founder and CEO of All Beauty Water. “People are becoming more educated about the benefits of a healthy diet and proper hydration and how both of these will affect the skin. Many women are starting to look at how their lifestyle will affect their skin health versus just thinking about the topical products they use.”

Our busy and stressful lives are also forcing us to make healthier choices to get the most out of everything we consume–even our water. This is where a product like All Beauty Water comes in. Varlet calls it a “functional beverage and a skincare drink” that is infused with vitamins and minerals derived from a variety of fruits and veggies that you likely wouldn’t have the time to chop up every night in your kitchen (think pomegranates, cucumbers, and aloe).

“Each bottle has eight SkinVitamins plus seven SkinNutrients, along with 2 glasses of water,” Varlet says. “It is more than ordinary water because all the ingredients we have added to the water, including electrolytes and antioxidants, have been shown to be good for skin.  Also we have three delicious flavors to solve the problem people have with drinking enough water because they find plain water to be boring on not tasty. Even better, we have no sugar, since sugar helps break down the collagen in skin, and no artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors or preservatives.”

The nutricosmetic concept isn’t new, but is slowly gaining a fanbase in the United States, thanks in part to companies like All Beauty Water, Waxhead, which creates fruit and nut health food bars that contain powerful antioxidants designed to help protect skin against harmful UV rays, and Imedeen, a skincare supplement said to deliver better anti-aging results than topical products–and it doesn’t hurt that supermodel Christy Turlington is their super spokesperson.

Although skincare drinks probably won’t replace potions and creams any time soon, our desire to link beauty and health and follow science-based advice when it comes to skincare is obviously strong. Nutricosmetics show no sign of slowing down any time soon, so why not jump on board?
