The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

We all love wearing our sky-high stilettos, but our feet certainly do not. We typically end up paying the price for squeezing our feet into heels, or any new shoes for that matter, which is why blisters happen. They just join the party when no on asked them to! And it’s always at the worst of worst times (aka when you’re walking home).

Even if you have an unwanted guest on your foot, never pop it! According to Dr. Suzanne Levine, popping a blister is the absolute worst thing to do, especially if the blister is not large and extremely painful. Instead, just leave it alone or soak your foot in an Epsom salt rinse. New skin is beginning to form underneath the fluid-filled abscess, so popping it will likely irritate it further.

So next time you are tempted to make a bad blister worse by popping it, remember the wise words of Dr. Levine and just leave it alone.
