June 11, 2015
Spring is just about done and summer is right around the corner! If you’re anything like me, you’re already covered in mosquito bites. The itching isn’t even the worst part of it, it’s the scaring and redness that is left behind when they finally start to go away. Giant welts and scabs are not cute. We did some research and found remedies to treat mosquito bites. The best part is, you probably already have these ingredients in your cabinet! No need to trek to the pharmacy.
Grab a lemon from your fridge and cut a slice off and apply it directly to the effected area. Lemons contain natural anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties that make them very useful in treating mosquito bites.
Take a glass of water and dissolve one teaspoon of baking soda. Take a clean cloth and dip it into the mixture. Leave it on the bite for 10-20 minutes. Wash it off with warm water
After eating a banana take the peel and rub it on the bite and that’s it! Viola! Your mosquito bite is gone.
No need to go to the store and buy an itching cream! Take an Aspirin, crush it up and add enough water so it turns into a paste. You just made your self an anti-itch lotion!
Moisten the effected area and add some table salt. The salt will dry out the bite and keep it from getting infected.
