What: Phytodefrisant, Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm
Why: I have frizzy, thick, curly, unruly hair and I’ve spent a lot of money on stuff like silicone serums, curl controllers and pomades over the years all in efforts to tame my wild mane. At first I read the label and all I saw was “relaxing.” It instantly conjured up memories of helping chemically relax my friend Shaniqua’s hair in high school — the smell and her screaming about a burning scalp are still fresh in my mind.
To my pleasant surprise, this all natural relaxer didn’t smell bad or cause any painful side effects. It did, however, manage to wick my curls into proper form and keep them there without making my hair crunchy, sticky or heavy. This is the best frizz fighting product I’ve ever used, hands down and is now a major component of my hair care routine. You might shudder at the price, but this splurge is well worth it. For anyone sick of battling frizz, this is a must try!

I don’t have curly hair, but it’s wavy and frizzy–especially this time of year–and I love this stuff. Great pick!
Tara over at SheFinds.com has a good review of a hair care product that helps end the frustration that comes from frizzy hair. Tara has thick frizzy hair and her opinions would surely be more valuable than the media hype that I see around frizzy hair care products.
A friend of mine bought me this product and I was hestiant to use it and to my surprise it is the best product ever for my frizzy friends.
