Wide widths are a challenge. We love the selection at DesignerShoes.com, a site devoted to those with bigger feet. They have a section for extra wide widths including these versatile ankle boots. Stop by their Sale section for some stylish steals. Find more wides and extra wides at Zappos.com. These pumps are great for work and are available up to 13WW. Zappos.com's search by size feature can really speed things up while shopping for both narrow and wide widths.

Several our readers have asked for advice on boots to fit wider calves. WideWidths.com specializes in them. Most boots have a 14-15" circumference, the Carly (and many others at WideWidths.com) measures 18".

Nordstrom.com has a great search by size function and the number of online offerings is several times what any one store has. They have over a hundred shoes in size 13, including these cute Peep Toe Pumps. Nordstrom is also the place to go for narrow widths.

Smaller feet? Cinderella of Boston specializes in women's shoes from size 2 to 5.5. They come in adult styles like the Jewel evening shoes - you won't find those at Stride Rite.

As most of us know, there are millions of women who wear a 14 or over yet don't want to wear moo moos that scream "Queen Size". Brick & mortar stores don't always carry a full range of sizes. You're far more likely to find what you're looking for online.

For casual wear, be sure to peruse OldNavy.com; they have sizes up to 26 on many styles. This Scoop-Neck Tee comes in seven colors up to a size 4x. Just because someone is plus sized it doesn't mean they are tall. While regular plus sized clothes can be floppy on shorter women, plus-sized petite items fall to the right spot.

Avenue.com has a full range of jeans in their Denim Lite line--they look "normal" but are actually made of a less bulky fabric. They'll feel like you've worn them for a few years the very first time.

For non-plus petite women we've like Banana Republic for a their selection of petite casuals. This time of year a Cotton V-neck in couple of colors can ease you right into spring. Ann Taylor has some great petite suits. Check out this Pinstripe Jacket and Pants--available from 00 to 16 petite.

For the other end of the height spectrum Gap offers "Tall" sizes designed for those 5'11 and up. Try out their Original Low-Rise Khakis. Gap Tall has longer legs (duh) but also a longer inseam to fit proportionately.

Long-waisted and don't feel like flashing your belly-button at work? Try Gap Tall tops and regular bottoms. Stock up on basics like the Stretch Fitted Shirt. For more Tall choices visit JCrew.com. It may seem like an oxymoron, but it's nice to find a Tall Short Dress, for legs that make a regular short dress too short.
