We could live in blazers year-round: wool, cotton/linen, corduroy,

sleeves), the puffy vest is actually a fantastic layering piece for transitional
weather. Stick with darker colors and throw it over a sweater for a fresh,
casually cool look. He won't want to wear it to dinner, but this look
is made for a morning coffee run or football tailgate party.
.: Dress It Up With Dark Denim :.
Just when you think denim can't get more popular, a new brand,
a new style or a new wash appears. This time, dark denim with
a narrow leg is all the rage--a blessing since it's much more
versatile for work, play, and a night on the town. We suggest
sticking with a straight leg, as hipster skinny leg styles can
be too tight and uncomfortable for some men. Although dark blue
or indigo is de rigueur for denim, consider a dark
gray or black to avoid denim fatigue. And watch the amount of
bedazzling on the pockets--clean and minimal is best.
.: Shoes Make the Man :.
We know guys have a hard time getting rid of "perfectly good shoes," even
if they're screaming late 90s. But it's time. Check out some
of our polished leather finds with a tapered toe and low heel. For a well-made
pair, spend a little extra money and aim for either black or rich brown
colors--they'll last longer and can easily go with a suit or a modern
blazer-and-denim look.

Stripes. Plaids. Patterns. Solids. Scarves just seem to get more popular
each season, with choices ranging from earth tones to swirls
of color to add style to any look. This season, it's all about the skinny
striped scarf. Typically no wider than 5-inches, this neck warmer won't
require a lot of fuss or folding to create the right fit. We like cashmere
or cashmere/silk blends for better comfort, but you can't beat lamb's
wool for warmth. Pick one of these finds for a surprise, "get ready for winter" gift.
