Here are some things you can do, through the use of clothing, to make them look slimmer.

  • Never wear pegged pants or pants that taper at the hem. Instead, choose pant legs that drop straight from the widest part of your thigh, a boot-cut pant or fit and flare skirt.
  • Choose vertical lines on pants in the form of fine pinstripes or a seam down the front of your pant leg. Vertical lines are always slimming
  • Avoid baggy, shapeless tops. Women who have larger thighs generally have a smaller waist. Always make sure that the tops you choose taper a bit at the waist.
