Bethenny Frankel's Slimming Swimsuit Is As Clever As She Is
June 4, 2010
Real Housewives of New York City’s Bethenny Frankel sure does know how to be a “skinny girl.” Frankel tells Us Weekly just three weeks after her pregnancy, she’s already dropped 29 pounds. But upon closer inspection, her swimsuit’s up to some tricks. Let us count the ways: the halter straps lift her up, exposing her tiny waist, ruching details make her tummy look flatter, and a bikini cut lengthens her legs. (The heels don’t hurt, either.) Here are three swimsuits that have similar slimming qualities that will be great for your next jaunt to the beach:
This two piece Tommy Bahama ‘Midnight Pearl’ Halter Tankini, and bottom ($64, down from $34) will give you a modern, retro feel that’s slimming too. Ruching details and high cut bikini bottoms that will make you look slimmer and taller.
This Calvin Klein Shirred One Piece ($98) doesn’t have any ruching, but it does have a empire waist belt that draws attention to the smallest part of your body, and a bright teal color that’ll distract the attention away from your belly.
This Miraclesuit “Isabella” Halter Ruffle Front One-Piece Swimsuit ($142) has ruffle details that help elongate the torso, and subtle ruching that bring all of the focus to the center of your body. Voila, you look like a toothpick.
