Beauty Find: Tweezerman

I’ve been a fan of Tweezerman products for years so I jumped at the chance to try two that I hadn’t seen before.  The Tweezerman Deluxe Lash Curler has a foam pad that seems to hold its cushion-y shape better than most.  Now, usually by the time I want to replace that foam pad I’ve lost the replacement pad that the curler came with, but Tweezerman has a solution: a tiny metal compartment that attaches to the handle and stores the refill pad.  I love it!

Another great find is the Pointed Slant Tweezer which is “two tweezers in one” and reduces my need to take up precious cabinet space with both slanted and pointed tweezers.  This one does at all, and of course includes Tweezerman’s free sharpening guarantee.

Is it possible to eat, sleep and breathe duct tape? We didn’t think so, but Vanessa Jean, the young designer behind the accessories at VanessaJean.com, must come as close as you can get! This upstart entrepreneur has taken a rainbow of the sticky substance and created some of the cutest (and cheapest!) belts, wallets, totes and handbags that we’ve seen since craft time at Girl Scout camp. Her pieces, like this popular black and white clutch, have been featured in Sweet 16 Magazine and are being picked up by a range of boutiques across the country. A handmade duct tape accessory will only run you $10-$30 right now, but grab yours before they catch on (your sweater).
