Red Hot Find: Oversized Sunglasses

Jul 12, 2006

image

What: REALLY BIG shades.

Why: This oversize shades look has been panned but it keeps popping up, not just on the celebs we watch in the rags and on tabloid TV, but in Vogue, InStyle, and on authentic fashionistas who harken back to the just-short-of-over-the-top days of grand glamour. You may have also seen Lindsay Lohan sporting hers in the movie Georgia Rule, which means the trend we reported on in 2005, 2006 and earlier in 2007 is still in full swing.

Thanks to brands like Juicy Couture, Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford, our frames are only getting larger and more fun with color and tinted glass. Some of our favorites include these effortlessly chich Harlot Sunglasses by Oliver Peoples at Neiman Marcus, but the sunglasses below are also right on trend and equally glamorous in their own right.

More from SheFinds: Don’t forget to check out the rest of our sunglasses finds on the blog.

I found this site GlassesEtc.com where you can get great designer shades for less. They have 100% authentic product. I met the owners yesterday and they are great people. Check it out.
