What: Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot Eau de Toilette Spray

Why: While I like to pretend I’m a jet-setter, with an Hermes bag on one arm and Clive Owen on the other, the truth is that I work in an office where the closest I get to jetting is watching planes take off from the airport.

That’s where Comptoir Sud Pacifique comes in. They’ve packaged their signature scent, Vanille Abricot, in a purse-size mister that I can use any time I need a taste of the tropics. The scent is extremely light and fresh, with fruity notes that conjure up a secluded island. A whiff of sugar candy in the dry down keeps me smelling sweet for hours. I may be stuck in a cubicle this spring, but if I close my eyes, I’m in paradise. (Clive Owen optional.)
