What: silk halter contrast dress, and silk camisole with silver embroidery
Why: After a season spent in holiday dresses and heels, I’m ready for something a little different. Indian inspired clothing is huge right now, and I love the style, but want to avoid looking like I stepped directly off a Bollywood set. The pieces I chose, this silk halter contrast dress, and this stunning silk camisole with silver embroidery from ZenTrend.com are just what I had in mind. I wore the dress out to dinner, and three different women asked where it was from. Now, I live in NYC, and compliments from strange women in public places are not exactly commonplace. Not for me anyway, but I don’t always wear clothes this cool. This dress will be perfect with flats this summer, and its loose flowy design will make it my definite go-to dress for sticky summer days. The colors are rich and deep, a nice change from the numerous sunny pastels I’ve managed to accumulate over the years, and the silver embroidery on the camisole really is exquisite. The top is also cut really well, skims without clinging to my body, and is cut nice and long.
I have reached clothing Nirvana.
