I want to be Sarah Jessica Parker. Wait, take that back. I want Carrie Bradshaw's closet (I'll pass on being SJP after the oh-so-embarrassing 'Unsexiest Woman Alive' title she earned from Maxim Magazine this year).

Patricia Field must have one helluva time styling the fabulous four. They all have such different styles and unique body types (and character preferences).

The first thing I think when I see this image is, What is Carrie doing on a pay phone? Yuck! It's like Carrie's birthday episode when everyone ran late - so late that Carrie waited all by herself and then had to pay for her own cake before leaving, alone. Did no one have cell phones? Samantha was a publicist for goodness sake. And Miranda - a lawyer! Second thing I think is, How down-town chic is she. Check out this uniquely hip outfit we caught Ms. Bradshaw in while filming for the upcoming SATC movie.

Think you can pull off Carrie's iconic eclectic style? Here's your chance - we've put together something we think compares with what you see on Ms. Bradshaw here.

We found this Tracy Reese orange and brown mini skirt ($158) with a bohemian feel just like Carrie's yellow paisley skirt above.

Ahoy, ladies! The nautical trend is still in, and just because you don't have access to your own personal yacht doesn't mean you can't rock the boat with a seaworthy look every once in awhile. The easiest way to get on board with the seafaring trend? Stripes. Added bonus: if this trend ever gets washed up, just lose the sailor pants and anchor jewelry, and the stripes still work. Here are three picks that you won't have to dip too far into your cruise fund to afford.

Head out for the yacht club in this Portside striped sweater from Alex Gaines ($72.60, was $363). With three-quarter sleeves, an easy-to-spot tomato red hue, and, oh yeah, a sub-$100 price tag, this 100 percent cashmere sweater is the perfect mate for wide-legged khaki trousers and navy espadrilles.

Lauren Moffat's black and white striped vest ($43, was $105.50) is a totally versatile take on the trend. With high-waisted, button-front pants and a lightweight black tee, you're ready for the high seas. With jeans, heels, and bright tank underneath, the look becomes perfect for partying inland.

This striped cashmere vest from Velvet ($52.50, was $174) is a true style staple. And yet, how many times do we have to be reminded how terrible the sun is for our skin? And as if melanoma, sun spots, and premature wrinkles weren't bad enough, how about the utter pain and embarrassment of sunburn? I'll admit, I used to worship the sun god a little too much in my youth, and I am certainly regretting my careless ways now.

But, thanks to dermatologist Kenneth Beer and his new book, Palm Beach Perfect Skin: The Quest For Ideal Skin Health & Beauty, we now have the tools to both fight wrinkles and prevent future damage to our precious skin.

In his new book, Dr. Beer offers expert advice on the latest advancements in treating wrinkles and caring for your skin. And now, he is offering exclusive tips and product picks for SheFinds! Dr. Beer recommends using no less than an SPF of 60 when spending a day in the sun, and when looking for an everyday sunscreen, he strongly suggests staying away from SPF 15 products, as they don't provide enough protection. Fact is, they're pretty much perfect. But ice cream cones are pretty much perfect, too, and you don't want to go the whole summer without throwing a little sorbet into your routine, just to mix things up. So this summer, when you're out buying your yearly four or five pairs of cropped jeans, why not throw a pair of bright, sorbet-colored chinos into the mix for good measure? Get 'em long—like the fresh, minty green Sunkissed khakis from the Gap ($40) pictured above—or go short and sweet. This season is all about big, bold colors, and these bright slacks work just as well with the stripes, florals, and jewel hues as your favorite jeans. Plus, chinos are light, breathable, and give off a slightly more dressed up vibe than denims. If this sounds at all like your mornings, then Marilyn Light Bag has a solution: A handbag with a GPS tracking device that locates the bag, whether it’s been misplaced or stolen. The first two months are free, and then it costs $15 per month. The device can’t be turned off either, allowing the owner to find the bag— and the person— wherever they are. The bags come in 11 colors, and include “Gucci and other brand-name look-alikes,” to quote their site.

A trackable handbag seems like overkill to me, but if they could create a GPS enabled key chain…

Get Yours: lightsbag.com

Right now, for me, those perks include being knee-deep in the latest and greatest in self tanning. I've got an entire office full of lotions, gels, sprays, foams, bronzers, exfoliators, and extenders. For someone like me, who's somewhere between Nicole Kidman and Amy Adams on the pale scale, this particular work perk is both a blessing and a curse. I barely know where to start, and am currently looking at the prospect of spending the next couple of weeks using a different product on every limb. But hey, it's all in the name of beauty… and you'll see the fruits of my labors in our Self Tanner Buyer's Guide in a few weeks (fingers crossed, one of those fruits isn't "orange").

Embarking on this daunting task, I knew I had to build a good base and go from there. I immediately reached for Xen-Tan, a self-tanning system with application options galore. The system is pretty foolproof: I started first with the minty green Body Scrub ($18). It's invigorating, and with a few good circular scrubs, my skin was dead cell free and prepped for tanning. I chose to start with Xen-Tan's Dark Mist ($29), although there are Dark Mousse ($29) and Dark Lotion ($39) formulas, too. The mist sprayed on really dark, which scared me at first, but turned out to be great, since I could see exactly where the color was going. Following the directions, I rubbed the pleasantly almond-scented mist in and was amazed at the instant transformation. I looked darker, but not orangey (thanks to the olive undertones). After a few minutes of settling, my base tan looked even and natural. Now I'm using the Xen-Tan Tan Extender ($28), a feather-light moisturizer that's hopefully going to keep a good thing going. And when winter rolls around, I'll definitely be using Xen-Tan Transform ($17) to build and maintain a gradual glow.

Get Yours: Nordstrom

Your turn: SheFinds needs all you ardent self tanners to give us your insight! See your rants and raves in print in our Self Tanner Buyer's Guide, and feel all warm and fuzzy knowing you've done your part to help your paler sisters get the glow. Leave your recommendations—along with a few words about why your brand is the bomb—in the comments section below.

I know, I'm supposed to throw things away every few months anyway, but usually stuff just stays around until I realize it’s been the better part of a decade and toss it. Of course, sometimes I get bored, and sometimes there's a new version of whatever I already have that I just have to have, in which case its predecessor gets the boot.

Not true for philosophy's Hope in a Jar face cream. I bought it in the winter of 2006 when I wandered into Sephora, dry and flaky and desperate for something that would stop my face from hurting when I smiled. A kind saleswoman led me to this rich salve – that smells just like a massage room at the spa – and I've been using it on my dry-ish skin ever since: winter, summer, and in between. It works wonders during winter and sunburn season when my skin is completely parched, but doesn’t make my face the least bit greasy if I use it when I’m just a little dry. The best part is: you can more than justify the cost with the simple fact that it takes a dab, a dot, a tiny bit to do its moisturizing stuff. I should know; I've had mine for two years.

Get Yours: Sephora.com
