Victoria Beckham on Thursday celebrated the launch of her new denim line dVb at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. I have mixed feelings about this one. Sure, she seems to be on the cutting edge of fashion -– cue enormous sunglasses, the tiny, tiniest jeans you’ve ever seen and nipples that could cut glass -– but she also looks subhuman. Her look is always too much: too tan, too booby, too skinny. I have a sneaking suspicion her clothing line will turn out to be much the same. Plus, do we really need another B list celebrity selling us her B list design just so she can have a trust fund when hubbie’s contract runs out?
