Shop: Little Odd Forest
What: “Delectable forest inspired oddities for all humankind” from Singapore based designer Lynda Lye. I can only imagine that she is a free spirit who I’d have a good time hanging out with. The blend of fairytale graphics, other-worldly creatures, and fanciful colors are just plain hip. It’s a wonder that the capitalistic trendsters at Urban Outfitters haven’t massed produced her line of funky fresh handbags. Perhaps Forestprints’ originality confuses them. No, it must be the prices. For $12.90 you can sport a snotty crowned bird or a yellow owl.
I spent this past Saturday (Earth Day, so apropos) wandering around the Little Odd Forest making friends and falling in love with the mythical must-have fashion. Recently featured in Lucky magazine, Little Odd Forest may not remain in the realm in mystical finds for long.
