BOB Jogging Strollers Recalled Over Choking Hazard
October 12, 2011
More than 400,000 BOB jogging strollers have been recalled after the manufacturer received six reports of children mouthing a detached patch backing. Two cases involved choking and gagging. Luckily, the backing was removed from the children’s mouths without injury.
The recall involves BOB Strollers manufactured between November 1998 and November 2010 with logos on the patch that say: BOB, Ironman, or Stroller Strides.
Owners are asked to immediately stop using the recalled strollers until they remove the backing patch from the interior of the canopy.
