Can You Guess Which Quilted Leather Slip-Ons Cost $34 More Than The Other?
August 5, 2014
While I was shopping for a new pair of booties last week, I came across Steve Madden’s Ecentrcq sneakers ($59.95), and I fell in love. I have been on the lookout for a pair of new slip-ons, and these were exactly what I needed for my growing fall wardrobe. They’re very unique (or so I thought), and the quilted leather just reminded me of autumn. I wanted them so badly, but the SM store didn’t have my size, but I didn’t panic. I planned on ordering them online the second I got home. I’ve learned that when you find shoes that you love as much as these, you have to act fast, or else you’ll miss out.
Later, I was shopping for some groceries at my local Target, when a pair of leather sneakers in one woman’s cart stopped me dead in my tracks. I frantically asked her, “WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE?!” And darted toward aisle 5, where I found an exact replica of Steve Madden’s slip-ons for less than half the price. Sorry, bro. Lucky for me, there were a few pairs left in my size. I was actually so excited, that I totally forgot to pick up eggs and milk.
Now it’s your turn to guess which one is the original and which one is the knock off. Can you even tell the difference?
Answer: The Steve Madden Ecentrcq sneakers ($59.95) are on the right and Target’s Women’s Mossimo Supply Co. Dedra Quilted Slip-ons ($24.99) are on the left.
