Can You Tell Which Pair Of Burgundy Booties Costs $144 More Than The Other?
September 11, 2014
We already gave you the heads up that burgundy booties were going to be the “in” shoe for fall when we found 31 pairs for you to shop. While some cost hundreds of dollars, others were in the $50-70 range, which is a lot more affordable. Some had zippers or buckles. Others had chunky heels, laces or leather. Overall, every pair was different with the exception of two suede pairs that look EXACTLY the same. One pair was from Steve Madden’s Peace Love Shea Collection and the other was from Old Navy. The price difference: $144. But can you even tell which pair is which? Do you like one better than the other? Let us know in the comments below.
Answer: The shoe on the left is Steve Madden TStudio ($179.50) and the one on the right is Old Navy’s Women’s Faux-Suede Ankle Boot ($36, down from $39.94). The only small difference is that the SM bootie has a zipper and a small patch of calf hair on the back. Did you guess it right?
