Blackheads seem to creep up onto your face out of nowhere! They're extremely annoying to deal with, and although they're not as big as white heads or cystic pimples, they can come in hordes that seem to take full control of your skin. Even though blackheads seem like they come as they please, your daily habits are most likely the main reason why you're getting them. Here are the 3 major causes of blackheads that you should quit immediately!

cigarettes

Cigarettes have absolutely no health benefits, so why smoke them? Here's another reason why you should quit your cigarette habit: it's causing your blackheads! The toxins in cigarettes not only pollute your lungs, they also clog your pores and hinder any actions you take to clear your skin up! Do your skin (and your whole body in general) a favor and throw out the pack of smokes, A.S.A.P!

coffee

Believe it or not, coffee is actually doing some damage o your pores. Studies have shown that coffee and other caffeinated drinks actually do more harm on your skin than good, leading to blackheads and pimples. Caffeine causes your skin to produce more pore-clogging oils, so switch up your morning coffee with a cup of decaf coffee or tea!

makeup

We all know that makeup is a major acne-inducer, so why would you sleep with it on?! The longer you keep your makeup on, the more prone your skin is to getting blackheads and pimples. Wash your makeup off the minute you get home, and use products that your skin isn't sensitive to in order to keep your skin fresh and clean

clear skin

To keep your skin clear, try washing your face regularly to keep your pores clean and clear! Also, make sure you kick those harmful habits to the curb for good, your skin will be thankful for it!
