News broke last week that Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, and everyone was absolutely devastated. Well, except #TeamAniston people, but that's a different story.

Angelina Jolie told Vogue in 2006 that their oldest chile Maddox made them a couple. "One day, Maddox just out of the blue called him Dad," Jolie said. "It was amazing. We were playing with cars on the floor of a hotel room and we both heard it and didn't say anything and just looked at each other. So that was probably the most defining moment, when he decided that we would all be a family."
The couple own the French estate Chateau Miraval (pictured), where they wed in 2014. It's located in the village of Brignol near Aix-en-Provence. The 1,000-acre estate is reportedly worth $60 million.
They also share the Villa Constanza vineyard in Italy, which is worth $41 million, as well as a $16 million home in West London and a $5.65 million mansion in New Orleans. Oh, and Brad still owns a home in Los Angeles and he and Angelina bought the properties next door to make their home more child-friendly. That's a lot of real estate to divide up!

Unsurprisingly, Brad and Angelina are worth a lot of money. Together, Hollywood's former "it" couple is reportedly worth $400 million. You can pick your jaw up off the floor now.
Individually, Pitt brings in an estimated $240 million, while Angelina rakes in $160 million.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was born in 2006, and the couple sold the rights to her first photos for a whopping $4.1 million to PEOPLE and the British rights for $3.5 million to Hello! They donated the money to charities supporting African children.
In 2008, they made history selling the rights to the first photos of their twins, Vivienne and Knox, to PEOPLE and Hello! for a grand total of $14 million. They donated the proceed to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

Brad and Angelina might have been planning for a divorce all along. According to TMZ, they "have a prenup spelling out exactly who gets what." So dividing up all those properties shouldn't be a fight.
The kids, however, are a different story. While it was reported that Angelina filed for physical custody fo the kids, Brad is planning to fight for joint custody.
