A Find: The Transitional Jacket
February 1, 2006
What: The Chanel jacket by Twill Twenty Two
Why: One of our top fashion gripes is transitional weather: you know, that time in between seasons when it’s too warm for a parka, but too chilly to venture out sans jacket? That in-between season when you can no longer stand to look at your winter wardrobe’s drab palette, but you wouldn’t dare don your pastels?
Solution? The transitional jacket. This season, we like the Chanel jacket by Twill Twenty Two. The long-sleeve, single-button twill jacket is structured enough to go with winter staples like a thin turtleneck and herringbone trousers, but the Caribbean blue hue is bright enough to remind us that we can soon trade in our wool skirts for our denim minis.
