Find of the Day: Razor Skateboard Pads for Kids' Protection (and Moms' Peace of Mind)
June 2, 2010
My son recently inherited a scooter from a friend. (Oh, look–there’s another gray hair!) He had been begging for one for a while, and I finally relented. I didn’t give up without a fight, though, and I made him promise that every time he stepped on that board he would be properly protected. He already had a bicycle helmet, but we needed something to guard the knees and elbows. I found the Razor Skateboard Youth Pro Pad Set and it’s the perfect accompaniment to the board. (Black is my boy’s color of choice, but it also comes in pink.)
We have a Razor scooter at home so we already know the quality of their equipment. These pads don’t disappoint. They’re made of foam and plastic, and have extra cushioning to protect those sweet baby joints. Plus, they come in a mesh bag which I sit right atop the skateboard so one never leaves the house without the other.
