From a SheFinds Reader: Top Chef's host Padma Lakshmi looked absolutely ethereal on last week's finale episode in Puerto Rico. Where'd she get her drapey dress?

Answer:
With all that delish food around, you think it'd be tough to stand out, but the TV-host-slash-model-who-actually-eats really stole the show from the final cheftestants last Wednesday. We're guessing Padma picked her ice blue asymmetrical gown from one of her favorite fashion standbys, Lanvin. She's been spotted in a similar dress in rich mustard yellow, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Liv Tyler are fans of the French line's draped Grecian-style gowns as well. You can drool over the ready-to-wear look at Lanvin's website all you want, but if you want to bring Padma's designer look to life, you'll have to make a few style substitutions.

If it's the flowy, flattering shape you're after, search for one-shoulder or asymmetrical dresses with lots of draping. There are tops for ladies with a bit of extra padding around the belly, or ones who plan on eating four delectable meals in one sitting, in Ms. Lakshmi's case. Badgley Mischka's regal Platinum Label chiffon dress ($650) is a silhouette match to Padmas, but the deep plummy color is better in climates that aren't as tropical as Puerto Rico. Take the look to a daytime-appropriate level with Jay Ahr's asymmetrical dress ($390) in rosy beige jersey fabric. Pair it with flat sandals and you'll be Grecian goddess good to go.
