How To Kill It On Thanksgiving Eve
November 25, 2015
For those of you coming home from college, just graduated or a few years out, Thanksgiving Eve is probably your favorite holiday of the year. I mean, what’s better than reuniting with all your best friends, having an EPIC night out and then spending the entire next day laying on a couch and eating food? Nothing.
For the uninitiated, TGE (yes, we should all be using this abbrev) isn’t just the night before Thanksgiving. It’s when all the college kids and recent grads come home, get together with their high school friends and go out for a night not to remember… if you know what I mean.
What makes this the biggest party night of the year (sorry New Years Eve, you’re overrated) is a couple of factors. For starters, no one has work or school the next day. Everyone is home for the holidays and wants to see old friends (and make fun of old exes) before spending the next 24 hours with family. It’s a nice way to break up the time. Also, Thanksgiving is basically meant to cure your hangover. You already have an excuse to eat all the carbs you want, and you don’t have to feel guilty about excusing yourself to take a post-meal nap (because your crazy uncles will do it too).
So now that you know what TGE is, click the slideshow to see how to kill it this Black(out) Wednesday.
