Jessica Alba Conquers Colorblocking; Get The Look From Head To (Cap) Toe
March 20, 2012
It seems only fitting that Jessica Alba wore a Kate Spade New York knitted sweater and Kate Spade New York ‘Davis’ Skinny Pants, both from the line’s Fall 2012 collection and available for purchase this summer, to Brad Goreski’s dinner event, which honored his just-released memoir Born to Be Brad. The former Rachel Zoe assistant is the actress’s go-to-stylist and just snapped up a styling gig for Kate Spade.
We like how Alba is sporting a multitude of colors, bright red and blue topped with an even brighter yellow bag, a Kate Spade New York Chambers Street Carlyle Bag, which is also available for purchase this summer. To the untrained eye, it may seem like a clashing case of style, but leave it to the expert to weave everything together with solid details of black, including a Jack Vartanian Black Quarts Ring ($1,350), cap-toed Giuseppe Zannotti Leather Pumps ($463), and a moto-style leather jacket.
For those that can’t wait through spring to try this look out, we’ve found a few similar styles that should suffice, such as a Kate Spade New York ‘Caroline’ Sweater ($178), Kate Spade New York ‘Stargazer’ Straight Leg Pant ($358), and Marc Jacobs Thompson ($1,250).
