My number one beauty obsession is that my lips be properly painted-always! I tried all of those permalipsticks that made their way through the magazine pages a few years ago. All I got were dry, peeling lips. But this Lipchic stuff works. I can go a full day without reapplication and my lips still feel good after I remove it with my normal face wash. I'm told it's a must-have for Broadway actors who have to look fresh through performances.

I thought I'd heard it all-waterproof, lengthening, curling, thick, thicker, blah, blah, blah. But now my lashes have been tubed and I'm never going back. Jennifer Garner and Lucy Liu both wear Blinc Kiss Me Mascara while beating up bad guys in their respective celluloid action scenes. Let NASA have their Mars Rovers, we've got our own space age development here on earth! The mascara doesn't coat your lashes, but envelops each lash in tiny, water resistant tubes that cannot clump, flake, smear or run. The magazine writers, who have seen it all (Vogue, Allure, Cosmopolitan, etc... ), are nuts for this product. You can't even cry it off because the stuff requires a combination of water and slight pressure to gently slide the tubes off your lashes. I'm having Biore gratification flashbacks, only less gross.

There's nothing worse than a long hard day followed by a long hard night of insomnia. When I sense that deep sleep is going to be as hard to get to as deep space, I don my DreamTime Lavender Aromamtherapeutic Sleep Mask and soothe myself to slumberville. The adjustable elastic strap secures the mask, while the padded cheek flaps completely, and comfortably, block out the light. The scent of fresh lavender flowers is subtle and calming.
