PHOTOS: Jessica Biel's Straight-Off-The Runway Giambattista Valli Gown
October 24, 2012
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake tied the knot last week in a super-private celebration in Italy and the first photos of the wedding have finally arrived. The couple shared their wedding album with People magazine and as you can see from the cover, Jessica wore a pink dress!
Jessica Biel’s wedding dress was “custom” designed by Giambattista Valli, but we couldn’t help but notice a striking resemblance to a gown from his Spring 2012 couture show (look 39, to be exact). The designer converted the couture version’s floral print into a “floral motif” for the bride, and muted the color from deep pink and red to pale pink. And voila! Jessica Biel’s wedding dress was born. Luckily, Jessica wasn’t the only one who fell in love with the couture creation–Justin Timberlake gushed to People that his bride was “the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.” Aw!
As for the rest of the celebration, Justin wore a custom Tom Ford tuxedo he helped design for the wedding in Puglia, Italy. The couple welcomed 100 guests–Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg and Timbaland, just to name a few–to the quaint Italian town for the week-long festivities. At the ceremony, Justin performed a song he wrote for Jessica as she walked down the aisle. “It was an original piece I wrote specifically for the evening and for her,” Timberlake told People magazine.
Looking back on their big day, Jessica Biel said “It was a total fantasy experience.” “t was a really special evening,” Justin added.
