What: Face Base Skin Primer
Why: You'll be glad you have oily skin when you get older," they say. However, few things will ruin a perfectly made-up face more than oily breakthrough. I should know: a half an hour or so after applying foundation, I usually begin to see droplets of oil emerge on my face. Somewhere around the three-hour mark, I'm glistening like an oil spill.
Luckily, I've finally found a skin primer that does what it promises. Face Base Skin Primer from ModelCo. is a clear, oil-free gel that keeps my foundation shine-free for hours! Oddly enough, it seemed heavy and oily when I squeezed it from the tube, but it felt light and looked matte when applied to my face. It can also be applied as an eye color base or worn alone as a moisturizer.
A Helpful Tip: After applying the primer and foundation, pat on your powder rather than stroking it across the face. Otherwise, the primer can flake off.
