Beauty Find: Soap for Sensitive Skin

Do you ever get the feeling that cleansers are out to get you? I do. Almost every time I find a great product for cleaning my face my skin revolts - dry patches, redness, the works. It can really suck to have sensitive skin sometimes.

Are you like me? Well, never fear, there is hope for those of us who suffer from sensitivity and chemical-overload. Not every cleanser has SLS, phthalates, dyes, fragrances, or anything else your face does not need. And not every cleanser is useless without them. For example, I love Nature Girl’s Chamomile Botanical Cream Cleanser for the face ($38). NG is one of my favorite EcoBeauty outfits and I haven’t found a product by them I don’t like. Their cleanser is very creamy and doesn’t produce a lot of lather, but it cleans deep without irritating and leaves skin soft. I use it with exfoliating spongesicon for maximum effect. If you’re a 5 minute shower kind of gal, Shea Terra soaps lather up nicely and are mild enough for face and body. $5
