It seems every model is turning designer these days. Whatever happened to all the model-actresses? Model Erin Wasson’s lines of jewelry and clothes have been out for some time, but when today, we heard via Vogue UK that model Erin Wasson’s jewelry is now for sale overseas, we were compelled to check them out again. Turns out, she’s got some amazing stuff–both clothing and jewelry wise, so you can look like a model off duty even if you’re not (and will never be) one. Plus, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. This Erin Wasson X RVCA sweetheart dress ($59.99, down from $150) could be your new favorite little black dress, as it leaves a little something to the imagination while still being sexy.

Get a load of this ring. Erin Wasson’s Low Luv faceted boulder ring ($65) certainly lives up to its name. If you’re sick of sparkly jewelry, this fits the bill–and comes in silver, too, if that’s more your style.

Erin Wasson X RVCA snakeskin trim boyfriend blazer ($128, down from $330) looks so luxurious, it seems like something straight off of the runway. Considering it has snakeskin on the trim, it’s an amazing deal at this price.

This Low Luv silver chain necklace has great detail without being too much. We can’t help but commend the $70 price tag, too, considering how expensive jewelry can be.

Blazers are the perfect for transitioning your wardrobe into spring– throw them on over any outfit and you look instantly put together. This Kenneth Cole New York Single Button Boyfriend Blazer ($69.90) has the perfect oversize shape, but it’s still classic. We promise you’ll want to wear this everywhere–and with every thing. The great thing is, you can.

This grey Gap Knit Blazer ($59.50) has clean lines and is structured, but is made of a comfy, stretchy knit.

This Aqua French Terry Three Quarter Sleeved Blazer ($98) has more of a shrunken fit, making it cute over a dress for work or even a party dress when it gets chilly at night.

How To Wear Neon Without Looking Like A Teenager From The ’80s

Neon gets a bad rap. When I think of the color, I immediately envision a horrible ’80s outfit. But this spring, there are a lot of work appropriate neon options–check out spring’s friendliest neon accessories–and we think it’s time to embrace the color, in small doses of course.

Get the look right by anchoring the bright color with neutrals like khaki or white. Try to stay away from pairing neon with black because it looks too harsh, and you can run the risk of looking like a club raver. Adding on other neon accessories like a bangle or a scarf is okay, but don’t go overboard.

I love the tiny ruffles on this J. Crew Cotton silk streamers cami ($110.00). The neon pink color is bright, but not overbearing like highlighter yellow or green.

Wearing neon with white makes the color pop even more, and this denim Lauren by Ralph Lauren Gelsey Skirt ($69.50) will do exactly that.

A structured blazer over the top is a good choice, and this Old Navy One Button Khaki Blazer ($39.50) will anchor the bright color, and it will add shape to the top.

Wearing another neon piece like these Alexis Bittar Lucite Bangles ($55 each) is okay because they are not overwhelming.

The color of your shoes should be neutral like these Franco Sarto “Hydra” Knotted High Heel Sandals ($89.00). The leather knot detail on the shoe makes them stand out.

Now, here’s proof one good black blazer really goes the distance:

Dani’s look with the blazer is more downtown chic than classic layered over a plaid tunic with a thin belt.

This Theory Yulima blazer ($415) might be pricey, but it’s a black blazer that you will wear forever. Pair the blazer with a plaid top like this Civil Smith Angie Plaid Shirt Dress ($89.99), and belt the blazer with this MICHAEL Michael Kors studded leather skinny belt ($22.99) to achieve Dani’s look.

Stylist Susan Joy’s look is more classic, but it’s still modern and cool.

Take a peek at the preview photos of Macy’s new exclusive collection by Ellen Tracy, which launches later this month. Now that there seems to be a new collaboration every day, sometimes quality suffers, but if these two looks from the collection are any indication, this one will be worth it. You can’t really go wrong with stripes and blazers–they’re the cornerstones of dressing this spring–and the prices are just right. And this is a really good leather jacket for the price; it looks worn in enough that you can’t tell it’s faux.

It was a snowy morning in New York City, but that didn’t stop Kardashian fans from trekking out in their five inch stilettos and body-con dresses to see the Kardashians’ first design collaboration with Bebe hosted by STYLE360. Clad in a hooded mini dress with a leather corset, Kim Kardashian hosted the show sans Khloe and Kourtney, and the clothes looked straight from the sisters’ closets. Easy separates like blazers, shorts, and vests dominated the show along with tight mini dresses and jumpsuits.

Fashion Math: Is An Oversized Blazer A Worthy Investment?

There are a few things in fashion that really are worth every penny. Some of those things are good boots, cashmere, coats, and suits. Speaking of suits, which are usually reserved for the formality of the corporate world, one of the biggest trends that comes to the foreground of fashion year after year is the blazer. You can buy one in wool, velvet, or even linen, and you’ll always return to it because it adds polish to everything, even jeans or a miniskirt. The fashion math has such a fabulous return that I simply must share:

This Vince 3/4 Sleeve Boyfriend Blazer ($440) is by no means cheap, but at $5.50 a wear, it’s an approachable option that will probably get more wear than the fashion math suggests thanks to its classic, wear-with-everything style. Made of a medium weight wool-viscose blend with a touch of Spandex, it’s not only comfortable, but the oversized cut is very fashion forward, while the strong shoulders and cropped sleeves give it that special touch.

Jil Sander Will Repeat Her Collaboration With Uniqlo

While the minimalist designer helms Uniqlo overall, she also created a special line, +J, for the store. Now it seems it’s done so well the Japanese retailer wants her to do another, Fashion Week Daily reports.

Our only trouble is that we can’t get the goods online. We’re rooting for that to change (ahem, Uniqlo) but in the meantime, we recommend copping the crisp style elsewhere (though perhaps not from the Jil Sander line, since it’s no longer designed by Jil herself). We prefer to directly channel Ms. Sander, with the perennially chic blazer and buttondown pairing.

Though “Spring 2010 Fashion Recap” Sounds Anachronistic, You Can Make It Work For Winter

WWD recapped all their favorite shows for spring 2010. While we liked their top picks, our favorites were the ones that included details we’re happy to don right now.

Though they may have sparked quite the controversy, Chanel’s clogs captured our fancy along with WWD’s approval. Unfortunately, the signature Chanel pair isn’t yet available (nor is any equivalent from the fashion house) but we’ve got a couple alternate options – Madden Girl’s wood-heeled clog with an open back channels the right look, and Matisse’s shearling clog is nearly the same shape as Chanel’s.

WWD likes Missoni’s “haute hippie” knits. We’d cop the style now with the line’s funky, built-in scarf cardigan or by picking up a cream-colored option that flaunts a little offbeat detail, like this crinkle chiffon ruffle cardigan from J. Crew.

Perfect tailoring is always in style in our book, though we do agree we particularly like Stella McCartney’s just-right example of it here. Get one of her warmer blazers this season (you can also just head to her GapKids line) or walk the line between the two looks with a tan wool jacket from Rugby that works during both fall and spring.

Top Five: Maxi Pads Are Back (No, Not That Kind)

Faster than you can say Joan Collins, the shoulder pad is making a comeback. Sharp and pointy, inflated, or simply hulking, this ’80s mainstay is a major fall trend in outerwear. To avoid looking like an unstoppable linebacker as you rush to work, go subtle with small pads or achieve a similar look with layering and large collars.

Try balancing shoulder pads with a cropped fit. This American Retro blazer ($264) gets the modern silhouette right.

This contemporary take on the classic cropped jacket by Jaeger London ($371) has peaked shoulders and will go with everything from jeans to dressy slacks.
