Jessica Alba is still heavily promoting her new eco-friendly business venture The Honest Company—spotted above on the set of Extra with AC Slater Mario Lopez. From the last time we saw her in an ombre green-and-black coat, we’re starting to get the sense that Jessica’s trying to instill her “go green” values through subliminal messages, aka her outfits.

‘Tis the season of crappy days filled with sleet, hail, rain, snow and wind–lots of wind. Here’s some street style outfit inspiration I recommend you wear on a rainy day: a polka dot blouse, yellow (or other brightly colored skirt) a creme blazer (which tempers any craziness–seriously, if she didn’t have it on, she’d look like a bumble bee) and an armful of bangles. Add gray tights, a winter coat and rain boots to taste. You’re ready to take on the world in style.

Major bonus: wear it to work and you’re bright eyed and busy tailed for happy hour.

So. I’m really into sequins. Maybe a bit too much: but they’re so in right now, so why not have fun with them? I can totally get away with wearing a sequin jacket to work, but I know that doesn’t fly in most offices. Which is why when I peeped this street style outfit inspiration, I had to share it with you. This girl totally rocks sequins in an almost secret kind of way–like she’s headed to an underground club right after she clocks out at 6 on Friday. Would you try wearing sequins to work if it was covertly, like the look above? The key is to go monochromatic, and of course, have fun with it! I probably wouldn’t try it at an investment banking firm, but it could work if your desk is rather large…
