I’m admittedly a commitment-phobe when it comes to making shoe purchases.

I’ve been in need of a new pair of boots, but I haven’t been able to pull the trigger.  I’ve found tons of great ones–from cheap equestrian boots (under $100!) to really comfortable desert boots, and flawless Miu Miu glitter knockoffs–but this year, I really wanted a pair that were just right. A little utilitarian, definitely either a pair of tall lace up boots or lace up booties, and not super expensive. Well this weekend I went to the Madewell store and tried a bunch of them on, and while I loved these, they just seemed a little too steep to justify.
