7 Bags That Look Just Like Chanel – Minus The Cost!

There are handbags—and then there are Chanel handbags. Few designer purses out there can boast being as classic and timeless as the infamous original Chanel 2.55 shoulder bag. Fashionistas alike have drooled over this coveted accessory ever since Coco Chanel debuted the gorgeous piece of leather in 1955 (hence the name of the style). The house has also released their similar and equally iconic Flap Bag and Boy Bag since then. Buuuuuut not all of us can say we have about $2,000-$4,000 lying around to treat ourselves to one of these. That's where we come in. We've rounded up the best lookalike Chanel bags out there (even one with a lookalike Chanel logo!) to save you precious time and money. Happy knockoff shopping! May the deals be ever in your favor. Kate Spade's well known for its chic simplicity, so it's no surprise the brand developed a bag similar to Chanel. This knockoff leans a little more to the pricier side, but it's still LOADS cheaper than an original Chanel. We're loving the adjustable chain and the dark, muted color. It's perfect for any outfit and any occasion, and is a nice vacation from black handbags (but don't worry, we'll get to those). [caption id="attachment_604285" align="aligncenter" width="209"] Emerson Place Lenia by Kate Spade ($151)[/caption] For another alternative to the traditional black Chanel bag, this feminine little piece is the perfect summer staple. The chain on this one comes off, so you can easily turn the bag into a simple clutch to transition from day to night. It's the ideal size to fit all your essentials without being too small. [caption id="attachment_604286" align="aligncenter" width="200"] Urban Expression Sheena Crossbody Bag ($29.94)[/caption] For all the black handbag lovers out there, these next ones are for you. These faux leather styles most closely resemble the original Chanel bags. The chain on this ASOS Collection bag is the most similar to authentic Chanel bags. [caption id="attachment_604283" align="aligncenter" width="209"] ASOS Quilted Lock Cross Body Bag ($24)[/caption] The pattern on this Topshop bag from Nordstrom differs slightly from the quilting on Chanel, but that doesn't mean you can't still rock it. It's a tiny bit larger than the other options, so this gives you maximum room to cram all your clutter inside! [caption id="attachment_604287" align="aligncenter" width="209"] Topshop Quilted Crossbody Bag ($29.99)[/caption] This bag from Amazon comes in small or large, and the straps can also be adjusted for long or short wear on your shoulder. Plus, the clasp vaguely resembles the Chanel logo! [caption id="attachment_604282" align="aligncenter" width="209"] Hoperay Shoulder Bag Crossbody Purse ($29.99)[/caption] Choose from black, white, or blush in this version, which is the smallest of them all. This bag differs from classic Chanel with the black clasp instead of gold or silver, but the all-black makes it look way more sleek. [caption id="attachment_604284" align="aligncenter" width="209"] Steve Madden Bclarre Bsaffiano ($25.99)[/caption] Last but not least, we just HAD to throw this one in. Unfortunately, Chanel doesn't make tote bags like this—although they should. But, this steal from Etsy looks like something straight off the Chanel runway. You'll be the biggest hit of your next workout class with this bag in tow, and no one will ever know you didn't spend thousands of dollars on it. Did This Designer Really Just Knock Off The Chanel Rainbow Print?

Karl Lagerfeld sent an army of Chanel rainbow dresses down the runway for Spring/Summer 2014. Each style featured a print that basically looked like hand-painted brush strokes in ROYGBIV order. Needless to say, the fashion world swooned. So since the real dresses are reserved for magazine covers and high-profile peeps, we were happy to find this very affordable lookalike. Get it below: And here is the Chanel runway image again, because, you can never get enough: Test your fashion savvy some more with: lace-up bodysuits, espadrille flats and grid print skirts [Photo: Imaxtree]

Chanel Is Launching E-Commerce!

Chanel has long been a holdout in the e-commerce market, but that is all about to change. The French fashion house officially confirmed it will offer online shopping. Bruno Pavlovsky, Chanel's president of fashion, tells WWD, "probably the end of next year, September. But everything that we are doing has to be linked with some brick-and-mortar boutiques.” Look out for Chanel e-commerce in September 2016! Let us pray to the fashion gods that this is not some cruel April Fools joke... Have You Seen The Bags From Today’s Chanel Show??

Chanel just debuted their Fall/Winter ready-to-wear collection at the Grand Palais in Paris (I guess my invite got lost in the mail??) and because he loves a good theme, Karl Lagerfeld skipped the traditional runway and instead created a large-scale French brasserie in which models like Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne strolled about. The 'Brasserie Gabrielle' was equipped with a wait staff, who served show guests real cappuccinos and Champagne from behind a large counter. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall! In keeping with the brasserie theme were the most out-of-this-world Chanel bags we've ever seen--including a long clutch in the shape of a restaurant menu (with a gorgeous quilted top flap), clutches in the shape of bistro plates (complete with "Brasserie Gabrielle" painted on them), and the piece de resistance - a bag in the shape of a Chanel makeup compact. Swoon!! See all the bag porn here:

Did Steve Madden Just Knock Off The Chanel Boy Bag?

We know, it's obvious which bag is more expensive here (see those double C's??). But it's hard to ignore the similarities between the two. Both black bags feature quilted detailing, silver hardware and come with a long crossbody strap. One is Chanel, and the other is Steve Madden, which means the price difference is insane. Find out just how much both bags cost by clicking the images below: Test your fashion savvy some more with: Barbie sweatshirts, flatbed sandals and colorblock sweaters

Chanel Is Suing Shop Jeen Over This Phone Case

Remember that Chanel perfume bottle-inspired iPhone case Kelly Osbourne wore? Well, turns out that little things is causing a whole lot of trouble. Chanel is suing Shop Jeen over the fakes. The retailer is being accused of federal trademark infringement, trademark counterfeiting, false designation of origin, trademark dilution, and common law trademark infringement. The Fashion Law reports that Chanel wants $2 million dollars for every $35 iPhone case sold, plus legal expenses. Ouch. The fashion house is also asking the court for a permanent injunction to prevent Shop Jeen from selling any more Chanel trademarks. We knew way back when that Kaiser Karl would not be happy about this. But hey, at least the Chanel name won't be further damaged by "different quality goods" ( a key complaint in this lawsuit) since the product is no longer available to buy. Hey, Michael Kors: Chanel Called, They Want Their Patent Quilted Bags Back

Whoa, Michael Kors. No offense but we're kind of giving the side-eye to some of your latest handbag designs, which make us feel like we're seeing a bit of Chanel quilted bags déjà vu. You're a big shot billionaire designer these days, you most definitely have the resources to come up with some amazing (and original) creations. We know that Chanel bags are copied time and time again, so perhaps your offerings are a way for us to own a quilted bag at a friendlier budget—and that's totally fine. But we hope this won't become a regular thing, Mr. Kors. If so, you're going to be the subject of many future Taste Tests. Anthropologie Just Made A $48 Version Of Chanel’s Pearl Choker Necklace

Calling all 90's chicks: thanks to Chanel, the choker is making a come back for spring and summer. But, today's version is much different from the ones we loved a couple decades ago. The styles that hit the runway this season are more like a cuff for your neck. They're easy to wear and leave room for designers to add fun embellishments, like giant pearls. Unfortunately, not everyone has a Chanel budget. So while we were busy saving our pennies and drooling over the French brand's double pearl choker, Anthropologie got busy. The retailer jumped on the choker bandwagon and made an affordable copycat. Can you guess which choker is Chanel and which is from Anthropologie? Answer: The one on the left is Anthropologie's Double Pearl Necklace ($48), which is sold exclusively online, and the one on the right is the Chanel Double Pearl Choker ($3,710), which is part of the brand's Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Which one do you like more? Let us know in the comments below! Test your fashion savvy some more with: wrap skirts, studded pumps, and daisy sunglasses. [Photo: Chanel]

Chanel x Monster Headphones Are Happening And Of Course They’re Quilted

Fashion Month is officially over. We learned a lot over the past 4 weeks, like Tom Ford is actually a pretty funny guy and Kendall Jenner isn't afraid of a sheer top. But the best news to come out of the Fall 2014 season is Chanel x Monster headphones. The French fashion house isn't the first to do designer headphones, but there's just something extra special about a pair with double C's. Krazy Karl sent a few models down the runway with the quilted (obvi) headphones around their necks, but it wasn't until DJ Swizz Beatz posted Instagram photos that we knew this collab was for real. He went on a little bit of an uploading spree with captions like, "HISTORY HAS JUST BEEN MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and "Chanel X Monster #chanel #monster #paris #makinghistory#imjustgettingstarted." Soooo yeah, this is pretty much a done deal, although no official launch date has been set. Hopefully we'll see these babies in-stores by the time the Fall 2014 collection hits this September. For now, check out Swizz's pics below: Swizz Beatz and Kaiser Karl with the Monster headphones. Swizz Beatz wearing the headphones at the Chanel Supermarché. Moda Operandi’s Vintage Chanel Trunkshow Is Better Than Their Birkin Bag Blowout

If there's one brand that gives Hermes and their coveted bags a run for their money, it's Chanel. Sure, Chanel purses are downright cheap compared to $30,000 Birkins, but that doesn't stop them from being on top of just about every woman's wish list. So if you've been saving, today is your lucky day. Our friends over at Moda Operandi just unveiled their vintage Chanel trunkshow and it does not disappoint. Not only are there hard-to-come-by handbags, but they've also got clothing and jewelry. The sale ends in 6 days, but even worse most of these items are one-of-a-kind. Don't wait! Check Out Alice Dellal’s $3K Teddy Bear, AKA Chanel’s New ‘Boy’ Bag

Chanel has a history of choosing rising (and sometimes quirky) celebrities to star in their ad campaigns: Lily Allen, Cat Power, and Georgia May Jagger have all shilled for the brand. But the house's latest selection comes as somewhat of a surprise: Punky socialite and model Alice Dellal has been tapped to rep Chanel's new Boy handbag collection. Best known for her punk-influenced, alternative fashion sense and modeling career (she's repped both Mango and Agent Provocateur), Dellal isn't exactly an obvious choice for the venerable fashion house. Chanel seems to be embracing her signature personal style, however — the campaign has her lounging around an extravagant mansion in torn fishnets (no pants, natch) and some crazy-cool hairdos. Get Dellal's look with some torn tights, a leather jacket, and a sophisticated chain strap bag — like the Boy, available in Chanel boutiques. Shop our guides to the best designer handbags, patterned stockings and tights, and best jackets for your shape.

How The Most-Wanted Bag Is Made: Behind The Scenes With The Chanel Classic Flap

PLUS, SHOP OUR SLIDESHOW OF CHANEL BAGS (ABOVE) Style Republic has the inside scoop on how the Chanel flap bag is made, and it only makes us want (uh, need) one more. The bags are meticulously stitched together and finished off with that signature Chanel hardware — the step by step photos are kind of purse porn for the Chanel lover. Louise Roe, editor at large at Glamour magazine, puts it best: Alongside the Hermes Kelly, this is the most infamous, recognisable, chic and elegant piece in accessory history. Buying one is an investment not only financially but from a style perspective: this bag will never date, and will always make you feel like a million dollars. Don't have a million dollars (or, like, 5 grand for a new 2.55 bag)? The Only Jewelery Box That May Trump Iris Apfel’s–Coco Chanel’s–Is Now Open To The Public

Chanel with pieces from her collection The mother of all jewelry boxes has been opened: Coco Chanel's personal collection of Chanel earrings, brooches, necklaces and belts is now being sold on in the "Chanel Avant Karl" range (which we're assuming is a play on Coco Avant Chanel, the French film depicting Coco Chanel's pre-couture life). Ranging from $1,000-$20,000 a piece, the collection was compiled over two decades by private estate jewelry and couture fashion company Vintage Luxury. 7 Things You Need To Know Before Purchasing A Pre-Owned, Designer Handbag

Craving this season's hottest new designer bag but need to pay rent instead? Consider visiting online site Luxe Designer Handbags for your newest handbag addition. This site features all of the latest styles, gently worn, and offers both an option to pay in full or a monthly payment plan. You can find pretty much any designer you're looking for on their site from Louis Vuitton to Gucci! We caught up with Luxe Designer Handbag's specialist, who answered a few of our questions about purchasing pre-owned bags. 1. What are the most important things to consider before buying a used designer handbag online? When shopping online for used designer handbags, on sites like Luxe DH it is very important to feel safe and secure. There are so many sites out there offering fake merchandise. For LuxeDH, authenticity is of paramount importance. We employ a team of authenticators with a combined 25 plus years of experience authenticating handbags. In addition, LuxeDH is listed as a recommended seller on one of the oldest and most trusted sources of designer handbag authentication services, MyPoupette. 2. If the bag is on-trend, why would the dealer want to get rid of it? Some women own a bag for a month or two and realize that either the bag is not their personal style and they want to sell to us to make some extra money. Some tire of their bags quickly and are on to the next quest to find their dream 3. What are some questions the buyer should be asking the dealer before they buy? It is important for a buyer to know the condition of the bag they are purchasing. All of our handbags are pre-loved and most are in excellent condition. Always make sure to look at all of the pictures. Also, the size of the bag they are purchasing is equally as important. Since most women want to know how they will look in the bag, we show all of our bags with a mannequin, but it is very important to look at the measurements provided in the description. (more…)

Get Your Toes Ready For Sandals With The Hottest Spring Nail Colors

It's almost sandal season again which, aside from warmer weather and longer days (finally), can only mean one thing: time for pedicures. But before you pull out your stash of nail polish from last summer, take a look at what's hot this season. Put down the neon and make way for pastels and nudes. 1. Nudes Not only are nudes on-trend this season, but they are super easy to wear: nudes elongate fingers and just one coat does the trick. We are loving Butter London's Hoorah Henri ($14) and  Sephora by O.P.I.'s Going Nude, Eh? ($9.50), which mimic the almost-bare effect seen at Louis Vuitton's Spring 2011 show. 2. Pastels Pastels were all over the Spring 2011 runways and, to be honest, we're glad to say goodbye to neon colors--at least for a season to two. The sherbet-like shades of NARS Nail Polish in Pokerface ($16) and POP Beauty Nail Glam in O'Boy ($14) make us feel girly and summery. 3. Grays Grays were everywhere this winter, but we love these updated spring versions. No one does nail polish like Chanel, and Chanel Le Vernis Nail Polish in Black Pearl ($25), a metallic charcoal that changes depending on the light, is already a hit. For a more opaque look that is still modern, we choose DiorVernis Nail Polish in Gris Montaigne ($21). Shop more beauty must-haves in our guides to the best mascara, lip balms, and eyeshadow. Then, get ready for warmer months and check out more Spring 2011 trends.

Karl Lagerfeld has announced his plans to launch a Macy's capsule collection in September to debut in 250 stores and online. What To Get Your Friend Who Wears Too Much Makeup (But Still Wants More)

Have a friend who lives for (and in) Sephora? Well, any beauty maven is sure to love these ultra- giftable beauty sets that not only provide endless color options, but also make chic additions to any vanity or makeup bag. You may just want to pick one up for yourself. With 32 eyeshadows, 8 glosses, 5 liners, a bronzer, and highlighting powder, Tarte's Jewelry Box ($52) is the mother of all beauty gift sets.  To boot, the gilded case comes with a chain necklace that we'd actually want to wear. Sparkly nails are everywhere this year, and no one does them better than Deborah Lippman. Gifting this "All That Jazz" Color Trio ($40, a $54 value) means your friend will have the perfect accessory for every holiday party. The MAC Tartan collection is my new favorite; you will love the cool plaid case of this MAC 'A Tartan Tale - Dazzle the Lads' Lip Bag ($36). Napoleon Perdis Limited Edition Gilty Pleasures  Deco Deluxe Lip Gloss Pack ($20) is perfect for your friend who changes her lip gloss every hour. Aside from the flattering shades,  the tube's luxe gold design makes these glosses look a lot more expensive than they are. Have a friend who is always running from the office to post-work drinks? Clinique's 'Pretty Day Into Night' Set ($36, a $75 value), which includes Clinique faves like High Impact Mascara and Cream Shaper for Eyes liner, comes in a clutch she can easily toss into her bag. Not only does this tokidoki Robbery Palette ($49, a $140 value) feature highly pigmented colors in a number of options (we're big fans of the green-and-black smokey eye quad),  we  also can't get over how cool the box is. Check our more of our favorite holiday gifts. Then, shop our guides to the best eyeliners, mascara, and eyeshadow.

Marc Jacobs Tape Measures To Louis Vuitton Snow Globes: Stuff Rich People Like

Label lovers who rejoiced over the recent designer sportswear trend, have another reason to celebrate: thanks to the folks at Chanel, Marc Jacobs, and more, there is no hobby, odd job, or sports activity that these super high end brands don't have you covered for. Whether you're up for a game of bocce or just need a cooler for the beach, these odd designer items have you covered. 1. Marc Jacob's Tape Measure: The fine print on this Marc by Marc Jacobs Croc of Q Tape Measurer ($40.60) reads, “Standard Supple. Type: Workwear." I am fairly certain there is nothing “standard” about a faux-croc embossed tape measure, and I don't think it qualifies as "workwear" either. 2. Hermés Drawer Liners If you want closet drawers stacked with Hermés - but don't have $20,000 to spend on clothes - just go for these Hermés Vetiver scented paper drawer liners ($45). 3. Chanel Sporting Goods Chanel's sports line includes everything from surf boards to fishing rods and footballs (really). So if you're somehow an extremely sporty person who also lives for labels, this is your holy grail. Our favorite is this Chanel Bocce Ball Set ($3,000, check site for store locater). 4. Say Hello Again To Beauty Loot You Thought Went Buh-Bye

ShopSmart Magazine, published by Consumer Reports, is keen to the loyalist's beauty dilemma of having their favorite makeup items taken off the shelves. A May feature about finding discontinued makeup, skincare, and fragrances proves to be a handy tool for tracking down hard-to-find goods that have been cruelly bumped from shelves to make room for new stuff. Below are some of their tips: 1. Try (or stalk) the manufacturer first. Estee Lauder brands, including Clinique and Prescriptives, has a Gone But Not Forgotten program where you can snatch up products discontinued within the past two years. Many manufacturer websites also have last chance alerts so you know when to stock up.2. Browse retailers that specialize in hard-to-find items.  and all sell cosmetics that have been taken off the market. You'll have to do a little digging to find out which sites carry your preferred brands, but when you do find your must-haves, you'll likely get them at a big-time discount.SheFinds also hunted down and (which stocks discontinued hair products and can even request they track down your product).3. Replicate the color. Another option is to have your makeup replicated by a company like makeup artist standby Three Custom Color. They'll duplicate the tone, texture and effects of your favorite color cosmetics and have a catalogue of cosmetic formulas that dates back more than 70 years. And check out our post on the best sites to buy beauty at a discount.

Drugstore Beauty: My Bikini Line Is Thankful For Neutrogena Sugar Scrub

What: Neutrogena Sugar Scrub Body Exfoliator, $10.70Why: It’s half the price of the sugar scrubs sold in spas, but this Neutrogena scrub works the same miracles. After developing ingrown hairs from waxing, a friend recommended I try this drugstore beauty bargain and I’ve never had an ingrown hair or other unsightly red bump on my bikini line again. The sugar's also gentler than salt scrubs I’ve tried, which is a pleasant bonus.Get Yours:

Drugstore Beauty: Forget Chanel, I’ll Take The $6 Neutrogena

What: Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Gloss, $6.50 Why: I have a weakness for Chanel lip glosses, but they don't exactly fit into my recession budget. On a search for a more affordable replacement, I found this shiny pink gloss from Neutrogena. It goes on smooth, leaves a hint of color, and stays put. Unlike other cheap glosses, it doesn't get sticky and actually moisturizes my lips too, leaving them soft and healthy looking. It also has a light, soft citrusy scent that is sure to perk you up. How To Wear A Belt So You Look Like A Thinner Lady, Not A Gladiator

We'll be the first to admit, it can be hard to get the hang of belts. Once you do, though, there are all kinds of figure-flattering benefits, like a smaller-looking waist and a feminine figure in boxy or flowy dresses. Below, we weigh in on how to wear the four kinds we think you should own. When layering a skinny belt over a cardigan or cinching a dress, aim to place it below your rib cage but above your navel, to create a tiny waist. Since skinny belts are less substantial than wide belts, its easier (and slightly safer) to explore patterns, textures and colors. Consider cinching a floral dress with a skinny leather belt to create a subtle contrast. Wear a wide belt in a dark hue around your midsection to slenderize, and look for stretchy materials which tend to be more comfortable for wearing higher on the body. We try to avoid letting these wide styles sit on our hips - best to make sure they cinch the narrowest part of your torso. When your outfit needs a little shape- say, a flowing, formless dress that kind of ends up looking slightly like a sack- select wide belt to define the curves hiding under all that fabric. A word of caution: avoid overly aggressive wide belts, as the size speaks for itself. Because we wouldn't want to be mistaken for dressing up as a pro wrestler or gladiator. Patent leather belts can be both office-appropriate and eveningwear chic - a black one will make almost anything look a little more posh. When donning a brightly colored patent number, it's wise to stick with a skinny belt, as the color and shiny texture can be a too-flashy combination. As eye-catching as they are, patterned belts can be headache-causing as well. The best way to work the patterned belt is to combine it with neutral pieces. Throw a snakeskin belt over a solid colored sweater dress, or try a belt that gets its pattern from texture rather than color.Avoid pattern on pattern, though - if you’re tempted to wear a plaid shirt, please don’t cinch with a bright snakeskin belt. It could have a dizzying effect on passersby.

Want To Glow Like Jen And Kate? Oscar’s Makeup Artist Says Great (Or Great Looking) Skin Is The Key

We had the pleasure of interviewing Emmy-nominated makeup artist Bruce Grayson yesterday - the one who ran the backstage goings-on at the Academy Awards (21 makeup artists! 19 hairdressers!) - and he let us in on how we mere mortals can get looks like the ones we saw on Sunday.Bruce’s advice for getting red carpet glam at home is the same advice he gives the celebrities: it all starts with great skin. Getting your skin in shape weeks in advance is the key to looking as amazing as possible: facials, microdermabrasion, whatever it takes. Bruce said he swears by Olay Definity Color Recaputre ($21) and Laura Mercier Secret Concealer ($22) to even skin tones and make skin look just flawless. Bruce’s picks for best makeup on Oscar night? Jennifer Aniston’s look was one of his favorites, with the star going a little more glam than usual but still showing gorgeous, translucent skin and makeup. Other favorites included Kate Winslet’s pale beigy pink eye with a dramatic lip and Viola Davis’s gorgeous mauve-y purple lips. “Oscars is about sheer simplicity," Bruce says. "It focuses on the eyes or the lips or the skin.” As far as other makeup bag staples, he adores Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara ($7.65) and Cargo Blu-Ray Blush/Highlighter ($27). When it comes to lips, Bruce is mad for the new lip gloss/lipstick combination products that go on easy and leave lasting color with shine - one of his favorites right now is MAC Tinted Lipglass ($14).Whether or not you include the red carpet and HDTV lighting is entirely up to you.

What Recession? Oscar Bling Makes No Apologies On The Carpet

We’ve already raved about the gowns, but the other big trend of the night? The statement necklace. Fred Leighton appears to have Hollywood by the throat, sending the most beautiful statement necklaces down the red carpet last night. Taraji P. Henson, Amanda Seyfried, Diane Lane, Penelope Cruz, and many more stars walked the carpet in Fred Leighton jewels, with Amy Adams wearing a Fred Leighton necklace that was featured on the cover of the November 2008 InStyle! Statement necklaces are a very cost-effective way to get maximum impact out of your wardrobe, changing virtually any outfit into an evening look. Want to snag a dazzling piece for your own jewelry box? This Ileana Creations Swarovski Crystal Choker ($119) or this Lee Angel Crystal Choker Necklace ($272) are gorgeous additions. If you’re looking for colored stones like the necklace Amy Adams was wearing, try a Good Fortune Necklace from Anthropologie ($48) or this Kenneth Jay Lane Gunmetal Multi Topaz Necklace ($300) for a little color with a rock and roll vibe.  Check out our Jewelry Staples Guide for essentials every woman should own.

Oscar Hair Requires A Ton Of Product, But Will Stay Put In A Strong Wind

Amidst the sea of pouffy gowns, the hairstyles of the 81st Annual Oscars showed much variation. Thankfully, the beauties of the red carpet chose a spectrum of stunning styles, and we tapped the hair gurus who created these looks to share their secrets on how to replicate for yourself. Angelina Jolie chose a half-up half-down style that not only emphasized her stunning emerald earrings, but also her equally stunning willowy figure. A-list stylist David Babaii sprayed her head with David Babaii for WildAid Bohemian Beach Spray ($10) to give the right amount of texture and hold. At Angelina’s crown, he sprayed David Babaii for WildAid Volcanic Ash Root Amplifier ($13) to the root area and down the hair shaft for added amplification. After back-brushing at the crown, pulling the sides back, and pinning them into place, he added David Babaii for WildAid Mise en Plis Light Styling Spray ($12) for long, yet natural lasting hold. Robert Vetica created the modern French twist Marion Cotillard sported. To start this streamlined look, he detangled hair with Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream ($30.78) and then blow-dried the hair smooth with a large round brush. He then applied Pureology Thickening Mist ($21.50) to lend a little volume and texture. “I teased the bee geebies out of the hair, concentrating mostly on the crown and back,” Robert shares. He then rolled the twist into an exaggerated cylinder that he pinned into place. To finish, he sprayed Moroccanoil Gold Glimmer Shine ($24) all over for additional shine. Frederic Fekkai’s Renato Campora crafted a heavily molded, almost futuristic take on Old Hollywood for Kate Winslet. First applying Fekkai More All Day Density Styling Whip ($25) to damp hair for texture, he dried Kate’s whole head of hair smooth and then crafted waves with a one-inch barrel curling iron. He then rolled the hair under to evoke a faux bob, using Fekkai Coiff Magnifique Ultra Light Finishing Crème ($23) to help seal in any loose ends, and finished the entire look with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray ($35).

He May Not Be Into You, But You’re Most Definitely Into The Clothes

We recently covered the fashion from He’s Just Not That Into You and this movie evidently hit a style nerve because we had tons of comments asking where to find particular items. From Scarlett Johansson’s adorable low-key clothes to Jennifer Connolly’s watch, here’s where to find some coveted items from the film: One reader asked where to locate the cute clothes Scarlett was wearing in the pedicure scene. The t-shirt is a James Perse Casual T ($50) and the sweater is Lux by Urban Outfitters, which doesn’t appear to be available anymore, so we think this Kimchi Blue Open Cardigan ($44) should do the trick. The jeans are ScarJo’s own Levi’s 501 Boyfriend Jeans ($78). In regards to Jennifer Connolly’s red wrap watch, it’s an Hermes Cape Cod PM Watch and it's $1,850. For a more cost-effective version, we suggest the Pedre Double Wrap Watch ($90). Lastly, we love the debate over ScarJo’s red slip under her vintage dress in the office scene. We can’t be sure this is the right one, but this Free People Pleated Skirt Dropwaist Slip ($88) is a good enough facsimile to get you into your own compromising positions. We’re working on additional finds, but let us know what else you’re looking for. We live for this stuff!
