Cool Stuff From Mall Stores: White House Black Market Jumps On The Bridal Bandwagon

You can add White House Black Market to the list of brands to launch online wedding boutiques (check out other retailers who want you to get married). The brand has a limited edition bridal collection that features a bridal gown for $498, and everything else wedding related including bridesmaid dresses, accessories, and clothes for the honeymoon. You can check out the wedding boutique online now. We found four pieces from the collection that you could wear to work, out on the town, and also to a wedding.

I love adding shine to an outfit, and this White House Black Market Crystal Encased Cluster Necklace ($78)  will make a statement during the day or night.

A polka dot print is fun and feminine, and this White House Black Market Polka Dot Tank Dress ($128) has a modern shape that will flatter a lot of figures.

This White House Black Market Satin Sheath Dress ($168) looks like an abstract take on the classic peplum dress. It’s probably too formal for work, but who doesn’t need a little black dress?

A belt to the waist makes you look five pounds lighter, and this White House Black Market Flower Sash ($44) is a romantic way to do it.

See what else is going on in the online retail world in our news section, then check out our guide to the best white jeans, and the best dresses to hide your tummy.

Which Zac Posen For Target Line Is Your Style: American Or Australian?

With all the buzz around Zac Posen’s collection for Target (available on April 25), it seems like very few people remember Posen’s fall 2008  collection for Target Australia.  Outside of the silhouette of the clothes, the feel of his two Target collections are completely different.  His collection for Australia was all-out glamour and much more grown up red carpet, while his upcoming collection (at left) looks a lot more youthful. See the differences (and similarities) for yourself. Which do you like better?

While the print on the upcoming US Target line’s paisley dress seen in Teen Vogue (at left) looks vibrant, the red dress from the Australia collection seems like it would have more consumer appeal.

At left, the dress that will soon be available through Zac Posen’s US Target stores is cool–I love the print and origami details on the waist, while the purple dress, which is similar, from his Australia collection has details that makes it look more like it was made for my grandmother.

The red ruffled dress from the new collection is sure to show up at proms across America, (how we wish Zac Posen for Target was around when we were in high school!) . The red dress from his Target Australia collection (at right) is elegant, but pretty boring.

I prefer the styling–vibrant scarf and buttoned up blazer–from his upcoming collection, but the prefer the high waist, wide leg pant on the suit from the Target Australia collection (right), is kind of chic, to.

Overall I think Zac Posen’s new upcoming collection for Target US wins. Which collection do you prefer?

Shop From Lauren Ralph Lauren’s First Online Fashion Show Now

Today you can see the first ever Lauren Ralph Lauren runway show, and buy pieces you see on the runway immediately. The best part: prices start at $38. In the background, you’ll hear top fashion editors giving commentary–kinda like sitting next to Nina Garcia in the front row and hearing her tell you how to wear it. My favorite looks include a feminine ruffled dress (check out how to wear ruffles), a linen shirtdress, and quality spring separates.  No fashion show crashers, no annoying crowds, and I could watch it in my pajamas. Shoppers can also ask the editors style questions that they will answer online for the next four days, and as we mentioned, shop directly from the show, just like celebs. Pretty cool, huh?

Latest From MomFinds: One Dress 7 Ways, Katie Holmes in Plaid, Join The Book Club

Stylish Mom Of The Day: Katie Holmes

We love Katie Holmes dressed up, but we really love her when she’s casual cool. The famous mom was snapped wearing a trendy plaid shirt and hip crossbody bag. MomFinds has what you need to recreate it.

Norma Kamali’s All-In-One Dress

This amazing jersey dress can be worn 7–yes, 7!–different ways. The idea of a convertible dress isn’t all that new, but what makes the Norma Kamali 7 ways dress special is that it’s actually cute. We love the dolman sleeve version for cooler days and the halter version for summer.

How To Wear Clogs Without Looking Like A Dowdy Milkmaid

Thanks to Alexa Chung, mainly, clogs have somehow made their way into the fashion zeitgeist again. They’re popping up already this spring, and trust us, we’ve been seeing a lot of clogs for fall and winter coming out–they’re here to stay, albeit for a few seasons.  Don’t be scared–we’re here to help. There are a lot of great options available online that won’t make you look silly, and we are here to help you get the trend right–without looking like a Danish milkmaid:

We suggest going with an updated clog like this Steven by Steve Madden ‘Barc’ Peep Toe Clog ($99). The clog trend looks best with casual day dresses like this Banana Republic silk striped drape dress ($110) which has cool draping and details. To make the dress office appropriate, trhow a  Gap cardigan over it in a soft neutral color to temper the look ($49.50). To dress the look up a little, try this Aqua Beaded Stretch Bracelet ($38). Of course, if you’re going to try the open toe clogs, make sure you get a pedicure with a rich red color like this Essie Wicked Nail Polish ($8).

We love the light brown suede on this Steven by Steve Madden ‘Barc’ Peep Toe Clog ($99) and the double row studs. It’s a clog, but still sexy.

This Banana Republic silk striped drape dress ($110) will be your go-to for spring and summer. You can wear to work with a cardigan, or without for a date.

You can’t have enough cardigans, and this heather brown Gap Cardigan ($49.50) is a nice change from basic black or white.

Lucite is a big spring fashion trend, and this Aqua Beaded Stretch Bracelet ($38) will add something special matches everything in your closet.

We like the idea of wearing a dark and rich nail polish with these clogs, and this Essie Wicked Nail Polish ($8) is a beautiful deep red.

Learn how to tackle the latest trends in our other how to wear posts, then check out our guide the best spring fashion trends and the best maxi dresses.

Rachel Zoe Dies Over Her Spring Must-Haves (And We Do Too)

Rachel Zoe is guest blogging at FabSugar, and we love her must-haves for spring.  Her choices, which included a statement cuff, a transitional leather jacket, and a spring scarf, could work in  anyone’s closet.  Whether you like the pint sized stylist or not, some of the most stylish celebs (Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz, Eva Mendes) trust her with their image, so there is something to be said for her taste. If you aren’t starring alongside Brad Pitt in a movie, or can’t afford her rates, we have the five items you need now to look like Rachel Zoe styled you herself.

Rachel Zoe piles it on when it comes to her rings and bracelets, and gold is her color of choice. This Kenneth Cole Gold Cuff ($38) is geometric and goes with everything. We love the unexpected white color on this Ariella Collection Faceted Ring ($38).

We showed you five pretty scarves for spring, and Rachel Zoe adds a lightweight scarf to her basic t-shirt and jeans to add some color. This Spun by Subtle Floral Scarf ($35) will add color, but the subtle colors won’t ruin an outfit.

Rachel Zoe gravitates towards printed maxi dresses–check out our round up of the best maxi dresses–and this Single Maxi Dress ($295) has a beautiful print and is casual enough for an outdoor barbecue, but can be dressed up with jewelry, heels, and a clutch for a semi-formal event.

A leather jacket is a smart transitional outerwear piece, and this Aqua Leather Asymmetrical-Zip Jacket ($298) has wide lapels and pleated shoulders that make it even cooler.

See how to get other celebrities’ looks in our guide to celebrity scarves and celebrity sunglasses, and then check out the best spring fashion trends.

Who Knew A Leprechaun Could Be Slutty? These 4 Costumes Prove They Can Be

Leprechauns are pretty ugly, but it shouldn’t be a big surprise that for St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow there is a wealth of “sexy” leprechaun costume choices. I mean, have you seen the slutty Halloween costumes?  Whether you prefer to use the holiday as an excuse to get drunk, or an excuse to carry around a four-leaf-clover wand, you will surely get a chuckle from these four slutty leprechaun costumes, and a pair of green, glittery platforms you could consider wearing to work tomorrow (kidding).

This Sassy Leprechaun Costume ($59.99) is actually on trend for fall. Velvet and thigh-high socks were big on the fall 2010 runways. No, the thigh-high socks were not adorned with a four-leaf-clover, and no, I didn’t see any green, buckled top hats, but if you are going to wear this costume, you might as well try to relate it to fashion.

The bra on this Charmed Leprechaun Adult Costume ($49.99) is actually kinda cute, but that doesn’t mean you should wear it with a green bolero and mini top-hat out of the house.

You definitely are struck by luck if you come across a reversible tube dress that you can wear for Valentine’s day and St. Patrick’s day! This  Struck By Luck Reversible Cupid Leprechaun Adult Costume ($56.99) makes being slutty throughout the seasons easier.

The mini top hat and four-leaf-clover wand make a reappearance in this Adult Clover Leprechaun Costume ($67.83).

If you want to skip the black Mary Janes and go for something a little more festive, try these Shamrock Glitter Adult Shoes ($34.99), clad with a platform, four-leaf-clover, and a touch of good ol’ holiday tackiness.

Get prepared for the next holiday with Halloween costumes we didn’t even know could be slutty, then check out the best bras and the best underwear to wear under your clothes–not to the bar.

You Don’t Have To Be Rich Or Famous To Wear Model Erin Wasson’s Clothes & Jewelry

It seems every model is turning designer these days. Whatever happened to all the model-actresses? Model Erin Wasson’s lines of jewelry and clothes have been out for some time, but when today, we heard via Vogue UK that model Erin Wasson’s jewelry is now for sale overseas, we were compelled to check them out again. Turns out, she’s got some amazing stuff–both clothing and jewelry wise, so you can look like a model off duty even if you’re not (and will never be) one. Plus, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Check it out:

This Erin Wasson X RVCA sweetheart dress ($59.99, down from $150) could be your new favorite little black dress, as it leaves a little something to the imagination while still being sexy.

Get a load of this ring. Erin Wasson’s Low Luv faceted boulder ring ($65) certainly lives up to its name. If you’re sick of sparkly jewelry, this fits the bill–and comes in silver, too, if that’s more your style.

Erin Wasson X RVCA snakeskin trim boyfriend blazer ($128, down from $330) looks so luxurious, it seems like something straight off of the runway. Considering it has snakeskin on the trim, it’s an amazing deal at this price.

This Low Luv silver chain necklace has great detail without being too much. We can’t help but commend the $70 price tag, too, considering how expensive jewelry can be.

If you want to try the chambray shirt trend with a little edge, check out Erin Wasson’s version. This X RVCA riveted denim shirt ($74.99, down from $188),  looks especially cool with black jeans.

Check out why we love chambray shirts, and get more ideas for channeling the supermodel off duty look–from skinny jeans to black jeans, to thigh high boots and blazers.
