Why: The Flight of the Concords may be the best series you or your guy have never seen.  Set in New York City, the show is centered around 2 musicians from New Zealand who are trying to find success while dealing with an obsessive fan (they only have one), a less than successful (but hysterically funny) band manager, and the general trials and tribulations of living in a new city with no money and huge dreams.  Within each thirty-minute episode you’ll find musical numbers that border on hallucinogenic but are ultimately incredibly creative and clever.  Flight of the Concords – The Complete Second Season is the perfect excuse to spend some extra couch time with your man.

So Thanks To Bruno, Guys Don’t Like Hair

Today The New York Times attempts to make an interesting case on the topic of men’s beauty.  The paper claims that an era of hairlessness (on more than just the face) is being ushered in among guys in college through their mid-thirties thanks to causes ranging from Gilette ads to Nivea to Brüno.

In case your guy wants to make like that slick-haired dude at your gym, we suggest keeping hair removal products around that he’ll think are meant for you, but in truth, both of you can (and will) definitely use.

Why: On a recent trip out in New York City, I stopped into the Hickey Freeman store and found the perfect dress shirt. Buy Him Push-Up Undies, And He’ll Always Be Happy To See You

Why: We females already know the appeal of using a little architecture to keep ourselves looking our absolute best. Now a Croatian designer is giving men the same opportunity. Lodoli’s Wonderbra-inspired creation contains a small pocket inside that is designed to lift a man’s “goods” in order to make them look more impressive.

My first instinct is that this is super weird. However, since a good push-up bra can provide a healthy dose of confidence for us, shouldn’t men be entitled to the same thing? Would you be okay with your man wearing these? I’m mostly just upset that Lodoli didn’t give his product the most obvious, awesome name ever: WonderPants.

Right now these babies are not sold online, so unless your honey has
recently traveled to Croatia there isn’t much chance of this coming up (pun intended)
in real life, at least for now.

Guy Friday: Help Your Man Get A Job By Making Him Look Presentable

With 11.1 million people unemployed, it’s safe to say that making a positive, memorable impression during an interview is even more essential today. So we have five, recession-friendly (inexpensive) style tips to help your guy look more polished when he walks into the room to meet his future boss.

Guy Friday: Men’s Jewelry – Less Is More Unless You Idolize Tony Soprano

Why: Jewelry for men is one of those taboo topics rarely uttered in mixed company. I mean, even the phrase conjures images of Tony Soprano and his entourage. So I’m a strong believer in less is so much more—both in the amount of jewelry worn and the design.

Guy Friday: Resolve To Smell Good This Year

Guys and cologne are an interesting combination. Whenever I buy cologne, the goal is to find a personal connection with the smell. Ii don't want the smell to be overbearing, but at the same time it's a great feeling when a complete stranger passes by and twirls around as to keep your air around just a bit longer.  As you walk through the men's cologne aisle looking for that perfect scent for your man, be sure to sample some of the great scents below:

Guy Friday: The Tumi T-Tech Adventure Is Sleek, Professional, And Incredibly Comfortable

Why:  As a New Yorker without a car, I find myself carrying things all the time. It's pretty much been that way since I was a kid in elementary school. But now that I am grown up, I need a grown up travel bag. Recently, Tumi has introduced their new line of backpacks called the T-Tech Adventure. This bag is perfect for the man who needs to carry things to the office and to the gym. The T-Tech Adventure is incredibly comfortable when carrying many items and does a great job of distributing weight to avoid back and shoulder injury.
