Banana Republic Is Launching A Second Mad Men Line Just In Time For The Season 5 Premiere

Banana Republic just announced that they’ll be doing a second Mad Men collection (with costume designer Janie Bryant). The original line, which launched last summer, included A-line dresses, cardigans and other Joan Holloway-approved separates. The 40-plus pieces will drop on March 1, just in time for the season premiere on March 25th.

In the meantime, shop vintage dresses from Modcloth that also nail the look.

And in the most exciting collaborations news we’ve heard since Versace for H&M, Banana Republic is teaming up with Mad Men‘s costume designer, Janie Bryant, for a line of men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories inspired by the hit TV show. The 60s-influenced collection will hit stores August 11th, but Banana Republic Facebook Fans can get access a day earlier. If imitation is the highest form of flattery, January Jones should be pretty pleased with herself. Not only did we copy her this October with our Mad Men Halloween costume, but now Versace is launching an entire line of sunglasses line dedicated to her retro glam style–aptly named the January J collection, set to debut this summer.

But Versace isn’t the only designer to jump on the retro sunglasses bandwagon–everyone from Michael Kors to Tom Ford has débuted cat eye sunglasses for spring.
