Is Sex And The City 3 Happening? This Photo Certainly Makes Us Think So

Two days ago, Sarah Jessica Parker posted a photo to Instagram with the caption, "Well. I guess the cat's out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I'm under strict gag order until then." Could it be Sex and the City 3?? Rumors have been flying for a while that the ladies may or may not reunite for another film, plus doesn't SJP look very Carrie-esque in this photo? Turns out, she is just playing games with our hearts. "The Instagram post is not in relation to the Sex and the City property," Warner Bros. tells PEOPLE. The post actually refers to her shoe line, SJP Collection,  launching at Bloomingdale's. Look out for her shoes to hit stores and online in mid-June! But until then, you can shop all the fabulous styles here. Get The Look: Sarah Jessica Parker Channels Her Inner Carrie In Party Dresses

Sarah Jessica Parker is all over town doing promotions for the Sex and the City 2.  Whether the movie itself will be any good is of less importance than the bevy of amazing clothes that will be on display throughout the film. Though you'll have to wait until May 27 for the premiere, SJP is already killing it on the promotions circuit.  Just this week, she showed off three fabulous looks that prove that Carrie Bradshaw lives on.  Here's how to get her top three looks of the week. Yellow, sparkles, and an asymmetrical neckline--looks like a classic Carrie Bradshaw out on the town outfit to us.  SJP proves that she is one of the sexiest Hollywood moms out there in this yellow Lanvin look straight from the runway.  Not to mention the metal platforms on her blush pink pumps, which have us drooling like we were in shoe heaven. Don't be afraid to mismatch with a bright yellow dress and nude pumps (black ones will make you look like a bumblebee).  Follow SJP's lead with a yellow asymmetrical dress that ties over one shoulder, by BCBG Max Azria ($248).  Like the platform detailing on SJP's shoes, these Trinitie pumps by Steve Madden ($80) are perfect. We haven't seen SJP dress this much like her alter-ego Carrie in quite some time, and we love it.  This Marchesa party dress, includes playful elements like stars and tulle. The last time you owned a dress with stars on it may have been in middle school, but there are modern dresses that make star detailing look gaze-worthy fore very age.  This Rory Beca dress ($187.50) is more cocktail appropriate than SJP's red carpet creation, allowing for subtle star detailing and a flattering bustier design.  Let this dress do all the talking with minimal accessories, and tall patent leather platform pumps by Kenneth Cole ($244.95). At the after party for the launch of her Heritage line for Halston, SJP went with the new line's purple sheath and a tuxedo blazer by Marchesa.  The combination of an oversized jacket with a tight and short dress makes the outfit functional in a dressy atmosphere, and practical for a club setting, once the blazer is removed. This look  is nearly identical to SJP's, except it's only a fraction of the price.  This Nanette Lepore wind-swept dress ($348) and French Connection tuxedo jacket ($148) appear simple apart, but combined create contrasting fabric textures and an overall breezy style that looks as effortless as it was to put on. SJP’s Halston Heritage Line Debuts Today With Carrie’s Sex & The City Dress

As huge fans of Sarah Jessica Parker's style, we were excited when we heard she was joining the Halston family, and today, her new Halston Heritage Collection is available on Net-a-Porter. Spoiler: we spotted the same white dress SJP wears in the Sex And The City 2 trailer in the collection. While some say Sarah Jessica Parker made a fashion misstep at the Oscars--(see our Oscar Twit Pics and Oscar trends of the night)--in our book, she can do no wrong. See below for proof: This Halston Heritage Stretch-jersey V-neck dress ($325) is a favorite at SheFinds. It was one of our favorite white dresses, and its appearance in the Sex And The City trailer will  make it a best seller. A little black dress is a must have, and this Halston Heritage Silk-satin asymmetric dress ($435) has elegant ruffle details, but it is also super comfortable. This Halston Heritage Night metallic-leather shoulder bag ($285) is a great size for carrying your evening essentials, but just like SJP mixes high end with low, it works just as well with a pair of jeans. If you want to make a big statement, this emerald Halston Heritage Split-front jersey dress ($455) is just the ticket. What I Can’t Stop Wearing This Summer: Black Bermuda Shorts

I confess, I have three pairs of black Bermuda shorts. I’ve bought all of them since May and I’m loath to give them up in September when the chilly weather is bound to arrive. It’s turned into a habit similar to searching for the next pair of perfect jeans or unsticky lip gloss. I see a pair, I try them on, and I justify buying them because they’re just a little different from the other two pairs I already own.  It all began with Target’s Merona Bermudas. I paid $18, but they’re a steal now at $12.59. They are the perfect Sunday brunch shorts that put a little class into my roll-out-of-bed weekends.   My next acquisition was Banana’s cropped black cotton pants. Just a little longer and a little dressier than the first, but oh-so-wonderful at $49. These flow from the office to happy hour and back with a cute cardi and long beads.   And the third… J.Crew’s solid 9” chino (no longer available in black, but still in plenty of other necessary colors!), which was the casual cousin of the first two pairs and ideal for kicking around home.    What are you going to have trouble not wearing this fall? Recession Beauty: I Got My Mascara At The Drugstore… But You Can’t Tell

Here at SheFinds, we’re feeling the economic pinch as much as the next beauty product addict. And so we’re bringing you new weekly picks that won't empty your wallet. We’ll test products and let you know how they hold up… hopefully saving you money by finding a cheaper version of the products you love and saving you from wasting your precious dough on a no-good knock-off.  Up first, mascara.  I compared four products and one was a clear winner, though all would have earned a place in my make-up bag for weekly wear. And I’m picky about mascara. I have long lashes that need a volumizing oomph and I wear contacts, which means I stay away from anything that flakes.  So, the winner: CoverGirl Lash Exact ($7.39). The secret is in the plastic brush, which keeps lashes from clumping, even after multiple applications. It volumizes and lengthens without looking fake. It wipes off easily, doesn't smudge and this baby never flakes.    First Runner Up: Maybelline Great Lash ($4.49). This one is an Allure Best of Beauty winner, but it’s No. 2 in my book simply because it gets clumpy a little faster than the CoverGirl Exact Lash. But, it goes on evenly and is good for sensitive eyes.   Second Runner Up: Wet n’ Wild Mega Protein ($2). The price is right for this drug store brand staple, but the chunks put it a distant third. One application isn’t enough, but two gets thick… especially after you’ve been using it for a week. But I'll give it you, this stuff doesn't smudge!  Last Place: Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes ($18). Lengthen, curl and volumize your lashes… and know that you spent too much on mascara. It absolutely works and probably stays clump free longer than any of the other three brands I tested… but for the price of one tube I can get a years’ worth of my favorite CoverGirl.   Do you have a favorite budget beauty product we should profile?
