One of our style faves, Alexa Chung, was spotted at London Fashion Week with a  blue-green Burberry Brights satchel and suddenly we are coveting a bright crossbody bag for the spring as well. Here, some equally-colorful (but wallet-friendlier!) options:

Topshop’s Pale Green Leather Tassel Side Crossbody Bag ($70) is almost a lookalike of Alexa’s bag, but in a softer shade: perfect for the color-shy.

Botkier’s Haven Crossbody Bag ($221.25, from $295), not for the color-shy, definitely grabs attention with its bright indigo blue and buttery leather. Let the bag speak for itself, like Alexa does, by pairing with a dark colors.  We’d go for a blazer and skinny jeans.

B. Makowsky’s Dakota Crossbody Bag ($178) will make you feel like spring even on those blistery March days. Toughen it up and contrast the sunny bag with a leather jacket.

This lipstick-red BDG Turnlock Front Crossbody Bag ($42) is an instant classic that’ll go with everything, but if you want to channel your inner French girl, throw it over a belted camel trench coat.

You also can’t go wrong with a woven bag, like Deux Lux’s Woven Crossbody Turnlock Bag ($89) in dusty purple. And we don’t hate the chain handle, either.

Cat eye sunglasses are sure to be everywhere this spring, but we have to admit we’ve already picked a favorite: the oversized House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea Cat Eye Sunglasses that their designer, Nicole Richie, wears everywhere. She’s a pretty good advertisement for them, no?

While yesterday’s Burberry show made fashion history–livestreaming the show online (and in some major cities, in 3-D!) we were more interested in the sparkly shiny front row and it stars pulled off hard-to-wear trends. Kate Hudson, Kristen Stewart, Claire Danes, and Olivia Palermo showed that Burberry is more than just overpriced trenches–it’s all about sparkles, nude colors, and platform sandals for spring. We’re so there.

Here are some affordable pieces that will help you look like you deserve a ticket to fashion week next season:

Kate Hudson and Olivia Palermo both weren’t afraid to shine in these sparkly stand-out pieces. They stuck with clean lines which made the sequin less overwhelming and look more polished than, well, disco.

This Victoria’s Secret Sequin Blazer ($159) has a the boyfriend shape that we love, and can be belted like Olivia Palermo’s jacket. The navy blue sequins make the sweater look rich, not cheap, which is important when dressing with sequins.

Kristen Stewart and Claire Danes wore delicate, feminine pieces in nude colors that would look good for any formal occasion. Claire’s nude platform sandals will go with practically anything–and (we can’t say it enough) make your legs look longer and slimmer.

Stewart’s silk knotted skirt might not work for all figures, but this gray James Perse rouched skirt ($125) is a simpler, more wearable alternative. And these Via Spiga Milicent sandals ($215) will do the trick.
