11 December Collaborations: Designers Really Do Save The Best For Holiday
If you're still on the hunt to find the best present for a few folks on your holiday shopping list, then this month's designer collaborations are sure to do the trick—especially if you're looking for beauty products. Nasty Gal, Fifty Shades of Grey, Victoria Beckham, BaubleBar, and Beyoncé have collab collections with major makeup and nail brands out this month. Bey's little sister Solange released a capsule collection of sneakers with Puma again. Plus Lindsay Lohan teamed with the men's streetwear brand Civil on graphic T-shirts, sweatshirts, and jerseys featuring none other than LiLo herself. But our favorite collaboration of all has to be Japanese brand Commes des Garçon and everyone's favorite movie Frozen, which includes quirky printed T-shirts, totes, and scarves with your favorite princesses and snowman. So you can show off your love for "Let It Go" without looking like you walked out of the Disney store. Check out our slideshow to shop this season's collaborations now.

It’s Kinda Hard Not To, Well, Love Victoria Beckham’s Heart Print Burberry Shirt
Hearts get a bad wrap. Yes, they can be sweet and oftentimes even tacky, but Victoria Beckham's Burberry Prorsum Heart Print Mulberry Silk Blouse ($795) is anything but. Perhaps it's the leather collar or the dramatic oxblood color, but we really don't mind that this blouse is covered in hearts. Just tuck it into your favorite jeans a la Posh and there's really no need to wait for Valentines Day to bust out the hearts. Spread the love and shop Victoria Beckham's Burberry top below! Is Victoria Beckham The Only Person Who Can Pull Off These Wide-Leg Chloe Jeans?
If a mega superstar turned fashion designer starts wearing a trend you haven't seen in quite some time, is that enough to convince you to give it a try, too? We only ask because Victoria Beckham recently stepped out in these head-turning Chloe High-rise Wide-leg Jeans ($595) and we're kind of surprised how much we like the look. Of course, it's not the first time Posh brought the flare back, but we're wondering if you have to be stick thin to pull these jeans off. What do you think--would you wear jeans like these? If so, shop the look below. Victoria Beckham Is Really Trying To Bring Flare Jeans Back–Are You Buying ‘Em?
First, let's just acknowledge the fact that Victoria Beckham actually stepped outside in jeans. The petite designer is rarely seen in anything but smart dresses and high heels, so to see her in 'casual' attire is, well, slightly shocking. But this is Victoria Beckham we're talking about, so it's no surprise that she did not step out in your average skinnies. Instead Posh wore some serious flare jeans--her own Victoria Beckham Flare Jeans ($295) to be exact. Now believe it or not, these flares are flattering on all body types (not just a rail thin 5 foot woman). Pair them with this season's trendy wedge sneakers and you've got yourself a pretty dope get-up. But be honest: are you ready for flare jeans to be back? If so, score Victoria Beckham's exact pair below. Victoria Beckham Flare Jeans ($295) [Photo Credit: Splash News] Looking for more A-list style? Right this way! Victoria Beckham’s Airport Style Includes 5 1/2-Inch Suede Boots & A Silk Dress
While most of us wear comfortable clothes while traveling, the lovely Victoria Beckham would never be caught dead in denim (really though, have you seen her in jeans?), especially upon landing at JFK for NY Fashion Week. She toted her adorable mini-me, Harper, wearing a Jil Sander Satin Raglan Dress ($276, down from $810) and some seriously stacked Giuseppe Zanotti Suede Boots ($875, down from $1,250). Yes, her items are actually on sale and well, that dress is pretty affordable (the more you look at it, you realize this is her version of sweats - it looks that comfortable!). Plus, the boots are great for a night on the town (probably not the best airport shoe, but whose stopping you?). Shop both the sale items below! Hold On To Your Knickers: Victoria Beckham Is Launching An E-Commerce Site
Victoria Beckham is having a “may-jah” year. After being named designer brand of the year at last fall’s British Fashion Awards, the former Posh Spice’s Victoria Beckham brand is now taking its reign to the webosphere with a first-ever e-commerce site. The new victoriabeckham.com—which up until now had just served as a lookbook for Beckham’s collections—will begin by selling accessories, eyewear, denim and the Victoria Victoria Beckham line. In addition, shoppers and fans will be able to get involved on the site by sharing content across their social media accounts and gaining access to behind-the-scenes look at the decision-making process that goes into each collection. The site is expected to launch sometime in spring 2013. Victoriabeckham.com has now gone live as a holding page where you can sign up for brand updates and notifications as to the exact date e-commerce will go live. As always, we will keep you posted with further developments. And if you can’t wait until spring, head over to Victoria Beckham’s shop on Net-A-Porter to get your fix. Want more news? Victoria Beckham Knows LBDs Aren’t Just For Night; Get Her Daytime-Worthy One
While out and about in New York City, Victoria Beckham strutted her stuff in the city's unofficial color (black, of course), sans baby daughter Harper who has been spotted front row at fashion shows and such. She may be a fashion mogul with her own designs (especially her lower-priced line on Net-A-Porter), but the wife of soccer stud David Beckham knows how to pay her compliments to fellow designers. She is donning a Balenciaga Belted V-Neck Dress ($1,795) which drapes beautifully across her slim frame. However, the dress seems to suit all body types, cinching in at the waist with a belt and soft pleats on the bottom. If you're in need of that simple, go-to LBD, this is your dress. Shop below. Victoria Beckham Wears A Dress From Her Own Lower-Priced Line — Gasp!
When you're not busy oohing and ahhing over the cuteness of Harper Beckham, take a minute to check out mum Victoria Beckham's latest look. Dining with her daughter and hubby in London this week, Posh Victoria was spotted in a dress from her own lower-priced 'Victoria' line (click here to see the latest F/W collection!). Get The Dress That Beyonce Wore And Made Victoria Beckham ‘Scream’
Is it OK to admit that we're kind of jealous of Beyonce's post-baby bod? But we're also happy with how she chose to it show off. The new mom flaunted her curves in a flattering Victoria Beckham Cotton-Blend Dress ($1,685) in navy blue (of course). Bey's outfit of choice even surprised the designer -- the former Spice Girl admitted to Extra: I was very excited when I saw it online -- I screamed and said, 'David, look!' Beyoncé is absolutely beautiful and has the most phenomenal body. I'm a huge Beyoncé fan, so it was big for me. Victoria Beckham Wants You To Look Like A Lady (Peplum Dresses Are The Way To Do It)
Yes, it took me a minute to find the word for this "ruffle at your hip" look but once I did, I found myself clicking 'Add To Wishlist' in a quite a few places. (It's "peplum," by the way, or "crumb-catcher" as some folks know it). Take a cue from Victoria Beckham and the flock of celebrities who've worn her designs, and opt for peplum wherever you need to look polished, sophisticated and ladylike. We dare you to try it. Watch Out Jessica Simpson: This Season’s Victoria Beckham Handbag Line Features A $29,600 Bag
From left: Victoria Beckham and the $29,608 purse from her fall line Unlike celebrity designers like Kim Kardashian and Jessica Simpson, Victoria Beckham doesn't indicate cost effectiveness as a selling point for her products. Rather, the second collection of her Victoria Beckham handbag line ranges in price from $1,200 for a clutch purse to $29,608 for an alligator doctor's bag (pictured). But for the former Spice Girl, quality is everything---According to Vogue UK, "The entire collection has been handcrafted in Italy and boasts artisanal details such as nappa-lined interiors and French-bound seams." While the collection is now only available at Harrod's, certain pieces will soon be sold on Net-a-Porter.com---so start saving up now. Victoria Beckham’s New Lower-Priced Dress Line Was Inspired By Emo Poster Girl Emily The Strange
I don't know about you, but when I think of Victoria Beckham's design aesthetic on her eponymous denim line or ready-to-wear collection, structured pieces tailored to a woman's curves come to mind. That's why I was surprised to see the first photos from Victoria by Victoria Beckham, her new and slightly more affordable (we're still talking $550 - $900) dresses line, which features younger, slouchier cuts than past designs. What surprised me even more, however, is that the Victoria by Victoria Beckham collection (which is set to début in stores Spring 2011) was apparently inspired by Emily the Strange...who, for those of you don't know, is a "counterculture character" with a feline following. In my experience, I've only ever seen Emily the Strange merchandise sold at Hot Topic. Although Vbecks may have been channeling her inner Emo Spice on this line, when it comes down to it, the dresses are actually pretty cute. Follow the author of this post on Twitter @shefindschar. Christian Louboutin Vs. Yves Saint Laurent: The Red-Soled Stiletto Battle Rages On
A pair of red-soled YSL pumps (left) and Christian Louboutins (right) In case you've been living barefoot under a rock for the past few months, you've probably heard all about the stiletto drama between Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Louboutin. If you have been on a heel hiatus we'll give you a refresher: back in April, Christian Louboutin filed a $1 million lawsuit against YSL, claiming the French fashion house had infringed upon his trademark red-soled heels. Now, YSL says Louboutin did not invent red-soled heels, because "Red outsoles are a commonly used ornamental design feature in footwear, dating as far back as the red shoes worn by King Louis XIV in the 1600s and the ruby red shoes that carried Dorothy home in The Wizard of Oz," according to The Daily Mail. Upon looking further into the issue, however, it appears that YSL almost exclusively uses the red sole only on shoes that are already red, whereas Louboutin does so on every shoe regardless of color. And dear Mr. Louboutin, Victoria Beckham wore your pumps to the Royal Wedding...so let's not get whiny here. Shop YSL Pumps On Net-a-Porter Here Now. Victoria Beckham Rocks 6-Inch Christian Louboutins To The Royal Wedding (While 6 Months Pregnant)
Victoria Beckham's 6-inch Christian Louboutins Though she chose to wear a dress of her own design to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on Friday, Victoria Beckham went with one of her favorite shoe designers, Christian Louboutin, for her choice of heels. According to the Daily Mail, the pumps were custom-made and worth over £1,000 ($1,670!!), but we think they look extremely similar to the Daffodile style (pictured right), which retails for $995, and is sold out in stores everywhere. While it is seemingly impossible to get our hands on VBeck's exact Louboutins, we found some equally statement-worthy (and largely more colorful) pairs ON SALE. And since 'tis the season for weddings, why not have a go-to pair of Louboutins as your default plus one? (more…)

Been Living Under A Rock For 6 Months? Read Our ‘Royal Wedding For Dummies’ Guide
Just in case you've been in a comma for 6 months and just woke up to the media frenzy known as the royal wedding, but don't quite know where to start, this is our version of a crash course. Well, actually, the ladies over at BRIDEfinds did all the heavy-lifting, but we've boiled it down nicely for you. Consider it Royal Wedding for Dummies: The Bride: Her name is Kate Middleton and she's a total babe. That hair! Those legs! Prince William is a lucky man. Oh, and she loves fascinators (those silly feather hats). The Dress: Where to start? Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we do know that Sophie Cranston, Alice Temperley, Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, Bruce Oldfield, and Jasper Conran's names have all come up as the dress designer. We know there will be at least 3 dresses worn throughout the day, and there's also rumor of a Victoria Beckham reception dress. The Other Dresses: Thanks to Kate, the Reiss Nannette dress and Issa London are kind of a big deal. The Hair: Word on the street is that Kate is wearing her hair down (smart move), and is opting for a floral hair accessory, rather than a tiara. The Shoes: According to sources who know these things, Kate is going to have 3 shoe changes on the big day - and that the pair she's wearing down the aisle are basically flats. Comfort first, folks. The Honeymoon: Prince William has expressed a desire to honeymoon in Australia, but we all know it comes down to what the bride wants. The Crap: Among the memorabilia low-lights, Kate & Wills have been immortalized with: a donut, a jelly bean, Minx nails, a creepy doll, a nail polish ... basically enough to fill a whole house with. Loving everything Kate related? Shop our guides to the best flat shoes, sheath dresses, and celebrity sunglasses.

Victoria Beckham may have to retire her 100-or-so Birkin bags soon, because the sulky Spice Girl is about to debut a line of handbags of her own. Victoria’s first collection, which includes six styles ($1,800-$13,950), will go on sale on Net-A-Porter later this month, and (sorry, PETA!) includes luxe leather and croc bags. The line also has a theme we can get behind: "24 hours in the life of Victoria". Sexy soccer star hubby not included. If you can't wait until the end of the month, have been craving a Birkin, or just one the lottery, Portero has quite a selection: Feel like a Beckham with this Gold Togo Leather 30cm Birkin Bag with Palladium Hardware ($8,989). Coming To A Fur Vest Near You: The Louisiana Swamp Rat?
There is and always has been a great debate over fur. PETA and rabid animal-lovers feel that real fur is wrong, and have been known to use a paint can or two to get their point across. On the other side, you have the Victoria Beckhams and Olsen twins of the world who love fur. The Telegraph is now reporting a resolution to the great debate: Louisiana swamp rats (not pictured above) which are "culled legally to protect marshland." Designer Cree McGree is arguing that since 400,000 of them go to waste every year, using their fur is pretty much guilt-free (albeit pretty gross). So, what do you think, should the rats not die in vain? What will PETA say? And most importantly, would you wear a swamp rat vest? Leave comments here. We’ve looked high and low to find you the best holiday gifts, stylish rain boots, boots under $100, and faux fur vests. Join our e-mail list for exclusive fashion updates and sales.

From Fashion Offenders to Hollywood’s Best Dressed List: Our Red Carpet MIP’s
What do we expect from our celebrities when they step onto the red carpet? Fierce fashions, immaculate hair and complimentary makeup. The celebrities listed here have made questionable choices along the years but have seemed to find their style groove. That or they've hired a fabulous stylist - we don't care either way. So who has arisen from the depths of red carpet ridiculousness? Jennifer Hudson: This Dreamgirl looked more like a nightmare during her American Idol days back in 2004. This casual outfit is better suited for a trip Costco, not a red carpet engagement. Flash forward to 2010, and this Oscar winning actress is hitting fashion high notes in this slimming Victoria Beckham number. Get the "after" look: Try the black, skirted dress look with this Alice + Olivia - Victoria Peplum dress ($264) - it's a big trend for fall. Jessica Biel: We've already told you about how far Jessica Biel has come since her days of 7th Heaven - and here is a not-so-friendly reminder. Jessica's high-waisted, silk banded slacks paired with a matching crochet halter are more like 7th Hell if you ask us. A few years, and a hot boyfriend, later and Jessica was one of the hottest ladies on the Oscars red carpet in this Oscar de la Renta gown. Get the "after" look: Try Jessica's pretty pink red carpet look at home with this Splendid Jersey maxi dress ($93, down from $155). It's the perfect party hostess dress - bold, comfy and glamorous. Pink: In 2000, Pink, complete with a spiky pint 'do, appeared at the MTV Movie Awards in one of the worst red carpet looks we've ever seen. A decade later, the singer still marches to the beat of her own drum, but does so occasionally in knock-out floor length gowns, like the one she wore to the Grammy's this year. Get the "after" look: Adrianna Papell Ombré Chiffon Sheath dress ($188) Victoria Beckham: In the days of Spice Girls, Victoria wasn't very Posh. In this too-tight skirt, fur-everything ensemble she looks more trashy than posh-like. Fast forward a few years, and Beck's wife is the hottest, sveltest woman on the red carpets and elsewhere. She is always in 4 inch heels and done up - just the way we like our celebrities. Try her polished look at home with this chic Walter Linen-blend shift dress ($134, down from $268) Shop through our guides for the best eyeshadow, accessories, little black dresses and evening bags to help you create your very own red carpet moment.
Reader E-Mail: How Do I Look Good At An Outdoor Sporting Event–Even While Eating A Hot Dog?
A SHEfinds' reader had a major style conundrum that we've even tackled ourselves. What should you wear when you have to go to your nephew's T-ball game, or your boyfriend just can't give up those Yankees tickets. We say go with a cute, yet comfortable outfit for the occasion--and don't worry, we're not suggesting you dress like Victoria Beckham. Oversize sunglasses are the essential starting point of any summer outfit - especially for daytime, outdoor events like a sports game. These Betsey Johnson 'Glam - Oversized' Sunglasses ($65) are super glam, and look way more expensive than they actually are. Avoid the back and cleavage sweat by opting for a breezy, loose-fitting dress like this pretty Halogen® Pleated Knit Dress ($58). You don't have to give up being girly just for the sake of the sport. Forget heels (they'll get stuck in the grass!). Instead, go for equally chic leather sandals like these Steve Madden Serrious Sandals in Cognac ($39). Don't forget the facial coverage, especially on hot, sunny days. This Nordstrom Straw Fedora ($38) is perfect - the fedora style is on-trend, and the straw color is versatile and goes with pretty much everything. If you'd prefer the jeans and tee look, you really can't go wrong with a v-neck tee like this Coverstitch V-neck T ($14.99, down from $19.50). It's universally flattering. Go with a stretch, cropped jean like these Joe's Jeans 'Honey - Kicker' Cuff Crop Stretch Jeans ($152) - the laid-back style still looks put together (read: not sweatpants). Slip-on Chuck Taylors are my weekend treat - they're so insanely comfortable, and always in style. Try a pair of these Chuck Taylor All Star Slip ($50) at your next outdoor game and you won't regret it. If you need help getting dressed for pretty much any occasion, read up on our guides to summer dresses, clogs, rompers and cheap swimwear.
Victoria Beckham And Nina Garcia Want You To Wear Cowboy Boots And Tutus
We're floored by the sheer number of style books in bookstores now--how many times can we bear to read about the quest for the perfect LBD, or the fact that nearly every woman in America wears the wrong size bra? We took a stroll through the bookstore to find the best of the worse advice being touted today. Check it out: We admit, there's a lot to be learned from Victoria Beckham. The woman bagged David Beckham, and can work an airport in a pair of 8 inch heels like nobody's business. But as much as she pretends she's the everyday woman--she's just...not. Case in point: these excerpts from her book That Extra Half An Inch ($13.59). Beckham's Advice: One style I really love is the starchy tulle skirt. Wear it with a narrow, body-skimming top. When I wear shorts in the summer, I tend to pair them with a simple T-shirt and thick-heeled boots. Whenever I'm pregnant, I make my own maternity jeans by taking a normal pair, cutting V shapes in the side and stitching elastic there. The Verdict: The tutu Carrie Bradshaw look had its moment--in 1998. And we know you're from England, Posh, but ever since Pretty Woman, thick heeled boots with shorts have been pretty much a no-go, only for go-gos. As for making our own maternity jeans, we'll leave that to Martha Stewart. Nice try, though. The One Hundred: A Guide To The Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own ($14.95) by Nina Garcia is filled with must-have "essentials" we can't afford: capes, cowboy boots, and leather pants. Garcia's Advice: Cowboy boots are just as acceptable with cocktail dresses as they are with jeans and t-shirts. Wearing leather pants means something. It's primal, it's sexy and it means you're ready to rock 'n' roll. A cape is a garment often associated with Superman and Dracula.--it's bold, mysterious, and powerful. Verdict: We're only going to say this once: Don't wear cowboy boots with a cocktail dress. Ever. The only thing "rock 'n roll" about too-tight leather pants is those 75 year-old fans with muffin tops who refuse to admit their glory days are over. And that must-have cape? We'll leave it to the Twilight fans, thanks. David Zyla styles for Broadway and soap operas like General Hospital, Port Charles and All My Children. He dresses very outlandish characters, so maybe that's why his advice in The Color of Style ($16.70) is well, dramatic. Take note: Zyla's Advice: When we wear the colors that reveal our true self, we flourish. Let go of your color bias. Your romantic color is the color reflected by your flushed skin, which reveals your passion, your sexual energy. Wear it on a hot date or any time you want your passion to show. Verdict: Actually, it's when we wear the colors that reveal our only truly clean clothes that we really flourish. Our color bias? We have a real issue with teal--do we really have to have a sit down, Jill Zarin-style, and work things out? We've got a better solution for revealing our passion: A push-up bra and a miniskirt. Done and done. For advice everyone can use, check out our how to wear section, and then see our guides to the best party shoes, the best maxi dresses, and the best floral dresses.
YSL’s Most Loved By Hollywood Shoes, The Tribute Toos, Are Branching Out
It's hard to look at any paparazzi shots without seeing the YSL Tribute Too pumps (see above). Now, YSL is capitalizing on the popular pumps by releasing them in five new limited edition colors (silver, bronze, gold, navy and red) that are sold exclusively on YSL.com for $795 to $895. [In Style] Can't afford it? Head over to Modinique--they're having an 85% off YSL sunglasses sale now. Although the pump has a six inch heel, the hidden platform and rubber sole are supposed to make them comfortable--and because they add on miles to your legs, they just might be worth the splurge. But if you can't fathom spending that much on one thing, check out the YSL shoes on eBay, and then see three affordable alternatives that are just as cute: These Dolce Vita Women's Madison Platform Pumps ($119.95) are a classic and will be a go-to for work or a night out. If you're looking for a nude pump for summer, try out these Charles by Charles David Women's Turvey Platform Pumps ($134.95) with cork details. These Jessica Simpson Women's Parigi Pumps ($88.95) are another good alternative that won't cost you a mortgage payment. See more our guide to the best platform shoes, the best spring shoe trends, and the best flat shoes.
Victoria Beckham’s Denim Was Well Worth The Wait
Victoria Beckham is notorious for wearing stunning dresses, (even to the airport) but the pop star turned designer wears denim like a pro, too--see how you can get Victoria Beckham's sexy denim leggings look. We've been excited about her denim collection ever since we saw the first pics, and her spring 2010 denim collection, which is now available on Net-a-Porter, does not disappoint. While it's a little pricey (between $185 and $495) these aren't your typical blue jeans--they've got great details like studs, fabric panels, and distressing. The collection also has cute separates that are perfect for a night out on the town. See our three favorite pieces from the collection: Jeggings are the newest trend, and these Victoria Beckham Denim Denim-look leggings ($275) have a great fit and black stretch panels on the sides that make them stand out from the pack. These Victoria Beckham Denim Distressed slim-leg jeans ($325) are a cool take on black denim--a little washed out, and with some distressing. If you're not in the market for jeans, consider this chic Victoria Beckham Denim Metallic jersey racer-back tank ($195)-- perfect for going out on those hot summer nights. Victoria Beckham Wants To Fill The Opening In Michelle Obama’s Designer Roster
While Michelle Obama and Victoria Beckham might seem worlds apart in the public eye, if you look closely at their outfits, (below) they have a pretty similar style. According to Vogue UK, Victoria wants to dress the First Lady in clothes from her own line--which is great timing since according to WWD, Michelle Obama's go-to designer Maria Pinto is closing her Chicago boutique. Michelle Obama doesn't teeter around in six inch heels like Victoria, but both women lean towards a structured dress with a nipped waist. While we anxiously wait for this fashion pairing, see three dresses that work for both women: This Donna Ricco Belted Jersey Dress with Oversized Collar ($138) has a similar shape of the Roland Mouret dresses Victoria regularly wears. The draped collard and defined waist would look great on Michelle Obama. Both of these ladies like prints, and this Calvin Klein Printed System Dress ($129) has a great graphic print we could see Mrs. Obama pairing with a black cardigan. Neither Michelle Obama nor Victoria Beckham are afraid to show off their legs, and this See by Chloé Cotton-blend shift dress ($360) would be great for lunches on the White House lawn. And if she is in the mood to add some shape, we suggest this Limited Floral Skinny Patent Leather Belt ($26.50). Check out the best black dresses, and then see our favorite blazers and skinny jeans to add to your wardrobe.
Get The Look: Victoria Beckham’s Super Cool Daytime Jeggings
We're obsessed with Victoria Beckham's look here, which is saying a lot considering how many outfits she's photographed wearing. But here, she's in her own brand of jeans--and we have to admit, she's the perfect walking advertisement. We may not have considered these jean leggings before seeing them on, but now we're sold. (more…)
